    Bought.

    • Sign up process painless, took 2 mins.

  • not bad but they are always advertised, no one buys it… ! lol

    • I have one. It's really useful when you have lots of rechargeable batteries.

      • does it actually work? lots of comments there about them not working.

i was going to get the tripod as well, but again the comments …

        • Worked for me at the time of posting - there is a limit of 600 redemptions available - but i would have thought they should still be available

try logging out clear cookies etc

The Vivitar tripod isnt available to Australians - only those items that ship from China work for us

        • sorry, i was talking about if the actual device works

I got one of these from DX a few months ago,

it is essentially a digital voltmeter.
which means it shows you the battery voltage but under no load condition.
this can be misleading as voltage may show ok but under load the voltage drops and the battery does not serve to power your device.

So as a voltmeter they work great,
as a battery tester not so good.

i want one, but all the reviews seem horrible

  • Anyone know a decent one can buy anywhere? Hard to find!

  • I bought one of these batt tester a few months ago from DX, the built quality is shocking. I have to pull it apart a few times to fix broken wires or bad solder joints. But it is a good gadget when it works, better than pull out my Fluke every time I need to check some batteries.
I also bought the mini tripod from DX best $1 I spent.
