    Good deal.. owner for 2+ years and using it everyday run.. love it.. does not slip off..
    Good battery life too..

      Agree with those comments, have owned 2 pairs; first ones lasted me at least 4 years & second pair still going strong after 2 years, all-in-all these are awesome & highly recommended

      • do you have the 2100 version? I had the first version and they were awesome, but I heard the 2100 is not as good (lower battery, connectivity issues). would be great to hear your thoughts if you've had both versions

        • Sorry, my bad. It's the Plantronics Backbeat Fit that I have had. But I think I will pull trigger at this price for 2100 model, the Fit appear to be no longer available

          • @Alphard: I have a a couple of sets of the Fit - and have found if you don’t use them the battery goes off and won’t hold a charge. My wife stopped using hers and I left it sitting in a drawer for six months - battery life dropped to about 3 hours and died a couple of months later.

            Also there was an issue where the play button would stick meaning they wouldn’t turn on. Hitting that end on a desk or flicking the earpiece seems to fix it.

            Other than that I like them - you can wear them for a long time without irritation - and hear what’s happening around you.

            • @Public21: I haven't had them sit idle for that long so can't relate but interesting to hear your experience there.

              Being able to hear what's happening around you while running through busy suburban Sydney streets is another strong point

    • How good are these for calls?

      • Even though the mic is inbuilt on the ear bud.. call quality is surprisingly good..
        With this price its a very good deal

      • The mike picks up everything around you. During a bike ride, its useless for me - even if I stop if there is enough wind its hard for others to hear. Inside, if its noisy, the person at the other end will hear a lot of it.

    • how long would you say the battery lasts? the first version could get 1h from 10min of charging, which was pretty amazing

    • Iv had these for a while. Great for running and produce a great sound. Battery life is decent. Phone calls are terrible in that the mic picks up more background noise than your voice.

  • Thanks OP - looks like it's from US though.

    Agree.. I have one…. You can literally toss throw this and they are will be fine.
    They sit on your ear canal you don't have to push it deep

  • hey i ordered these yesterday!

    i've always loved the sennheiser pmx 680. they sounded pretty good and were rock solid, but god damn did i hate the cable. unfortunately sennheiser don't think it's worth investing in bluetooth for the new versions so i've had to find something else.

    these plantronics look like a similar design and reviews are reasonably positive. for $85 i can't go wrong i guess?

      If you want:

      good value;
      controls that work easily;
      non-hifi;
      open to allow local sounds;
      sports suitable;
      comfortable;

      you can't go wrong,

  • Best Bluetooth set.

  • Any comments on how these compare to Soundpeats Truewings?

    • +2

      Soundpeats are In ear (ie wedged into your ear canal so good seal and better base) - God I hate in ears, painful and can hear my breathing and footsteps.

      Backbeat - direct sound into the ear but are not actually in ear so for someone like me - comfort but still doesn't fall out.

      Having said that my perfect cheap , great sound , NOT in ear headphones that don't fall out, and have on bud volume control and sync perfectly with android would be the Tronsmart Onyx Ace paired with this https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B0839C2VTL?ref_=pe_2361882_2952…

      Sound quality is as good as airpods 1 and volume control and under $50

      • Thanks - good point. I usually like in ears (have been running with a set of Haylou GT1 but after running for a while, they start to slip out).

        • +1

          I ended up getting a pair of Soundpeats Trueair with the silicon covers you suggested.

          • @ShortyX: I have tried a few silicone ear hooks and these ones were soft but shaped perfectly for my ears so the buds never fall out and I don't feel them. They're cheap too! Others were the wrong shape or too firm.

  • Also have had a set for over 2 years. First one had some battery issues, but I put in a warranty claim and had a new set was sent to me within 3 days…then just posted the old ones back. Great warranty service from plantronics. Never had an issue since.

    Excellent design for workouts, no annoying cord hitting my neck or back.

    Massive downside for me was the bass bottoms out and sounds like a popped speaker or a fart, annoyed me so much I returned them after trying two sets and got some thing else.

    • What did you end up getting?

    • I found the high loops actually annoying when sitting on a couch or lying in bed as they firm loops push the buds out of my ears, they don't rest low around my neck, best for exercising I guess, not for watching TV!

    • you want to compare a pair of waterproof running/sport headphones @ $85 to a pair of non-water proof, non-sport headphones @ $219?

      i can tell ya that the cable jumping and down on my neck while running would drive me fkn nuts!

    • Agreed, these are super for running in my experience and this is a very good price.
