Seems like a decent deal and RGB will give you extra speed [/Sarcasm]

Silicon Power 16GB (8GBx2) XPOWER RGB Turbine Gaming DDR4 3200MHz (PC4 25600) 288-pin CL16 DDR4 RAM for $106 Delivered from Amazon Australia (Sold by Silicon Power AU)

This is the cheapest RGB 16GB module I could find and and apparently these are Samsung B-die

Cheapest price according to CamelCamelCamel

However you could save $2 and buy it from Amazon US via Amazon Au for $104 - of course shipping time will be longer.

If you don't need RGB, don't mind Blue colour and after faster 3600MHz RAM then this is also decent for $88.47 but it is CL18 and was slightly cheaper yesterday.

Price History at C CamelCamelCamel.

  • been seeing these 'silicon power' ram and ssds. Are they just a brand or do they something unique?

    • +3

Another brand, nothing unique. But their products are decent though…

Thanks OP, looks like a good deal.
Also states "lifetime warranty" in the description.

    If you don't need RGB

What is this rubbish? RGB makes your ram faster..

RGB will give you extra speed [/Sarcasm]

A non believer? I am shocked and appalled. No supper nor gaming for you tonight!

  • Is this non RGB b-die as well?

  • hey guys, looking to upgrade my ram for gaming and video rendering. Would these be good to buy? Thanks.

    • Depends on what system/motherboard you have

If you have Ryzen CPU with compatible motherboard then yes higher speed RAM would help.

This post has the cheapest RGB RAM I have managed to found.

If you don't need RGB then look for faster non RGB variant like the this

This is another cheaper 3600MHz option but CAS latency is not as tight as Crucials ones

  • I got these last time they were on sale and the lgb on one module died immediately.

    • Have you lodged for warranty service? How good is their post sale support?

  • +1

Pricey for a 16GB 3200 CL16 kit. Better to go for the Crucial 16GB 3600 CL16 kits that are frequently popping up on Amazon.

    • Yeah this only caters for RGB fans, its probably the cheapest RGB kits at the moment with Samsung B-die…
I have bought the Crucial ones (and this too for a 2nd build) - absolutely love the Crucial ones but a 3600 CL16 RGB kit will cost around $130 if not more

      • What’s the main difference between RGB and none RGB RAMS?

        • +1

No performance difference, only aesthetics (which is also subjective)
