Would you know if you have cat friendly plants?

    • They vary from 120mm to 200mm ficus lyrata is 140mm

      • Thanks mate. Might help to update the pot sizes as a lot of people are asking the same questions as me!

        • Really appreciate your feedback we will update our descriptions with the pot sizes for all our plants ASAP

  • Would be good to know the diameter of these plants, hard to tell from pictures.

    • Agreed, can't tell for the Ficus Umbellata.

    • They vary from 120mm to 200mm, we will be updating our site based on the feedback with pot sizes for all our plants

      Thank you :-)

      • Thanks! Will hold off on purchasing until the sizes are added, just to be sure I can make use of some spare pots.

Really like the detailed descriptions given for some plants otherwise. Echo some other suggestions here about recommending "beginner friendly" and easy to maintain plants, better yet it would be good if we could sort/filter based on the care requirements you've already given with the symbols in each listing.

        • Appreciate all the helpful feedback from everyone, we will take all this on board to help provide a better shopping experience for everyone. We will be updating the pot sizes of out plants ASAP

Can you add a new sorting option for LEAST CARE REQUIRED to MOST COMPLICATED, for people who are useless with plants like me? :)

    • Haha, or maybe some suggested plants for those without any trace of green thumb!

  • Hey mate you might want to consider adding Strelizia Reginae and Strelizia Nicolai - 2 very popular plants (especially the Nicolai) that feature heavily in magazines / blog posts.

We would love to have these on our website but transport to interstate is an issue if you are in Sydney we can definitely supply and deliver to you

  • Super interested, been planning to get some greeneries in the house but researching plants is hard for a beginner. Do you ship to WA?

    • Sorry I meant to reply to you but posted a new post. See below.

      • Thanks a lot man, good info.

I'm really clueless about these things. Can you confirm if the plants come with pots and soil or do we need to get those ourselves?

        • Most online places send with pots. Only private sellers would send plants without pot / soil in roots.

Also, when buying plants online or in store, leave them in the pots they come with until they acclimatize. They get stressed from the change in conditions.
And I highly recommend to keep plants in the plastic pots and put the plastic into decorative ones. It makes it easier to water and decorative ones generally are not as good with drainage.

Here's a few links with easy to care for indoor plants:

Most indoor plants need indirect bright light, basically no direct sun but brightness from the sun if that makes sense. Water when close to dry, don't over water. Read up on bottom watering. Also get a water meter off Amazon for $15; best thing i've bought and really helps with knowing when to water. Soil for indoor plants generally need to be well draining so add stuff like perlite to the mix to reduce water retention.

ZZ and snake plants can take less light / water.

Avoid Alocasia, Fiddle Leaf and especially calathea's (fkn bitches they are) until you have more experience. Don't be afraid to lose a plant in your plant journey; it's part of the process. Some plants can go really expensive like $2-3k for a cutting. Start with local nursery's with $20-30 plants.. Bunnings is ok but they tend to over water them and can be in bad condition.

From the site, these I would recommend:

All relatively easy to care for, moist soil and indirect bright light.

    • Great links and advice. Thanks for taking the time! 👌🏻

  • Is this discount code only available once?

Tried to make 2 separate orders, but it's not allowing me to use the code the 2nd time.
