Is apple pay eligible for cashback?
I just made a purchase using my watch to use Apple Pay via a linked card in cash rewards and it worked. Even got the email from CR within a couple of minutes. One thing to note is once before it did not track for me so make sure to get a receipt just in case.
Can I tap with Google Pay? Or does it have to be the physical credit card?
I don't know why I'm asking.. I probably won't take up the deal even though it is pretty sweet… I've got a fair bit of booze to get through already… but just in case.

The only transactions visible to us (Cashrewards) via a linked card are those that Visa/Mastercard reports to us for the purposes of cashback into member accounts. Anything outside this is not passed on to us by the banks. In other words, we only see transactions that occur at our partner merchants through linked cards.

Yes they sell Liquorland only gift cards but also sell the group cards that you can use at Coles ect as well.

@SydOzber: Well eventually it is up to liquorlands to approve the cashbacks, although I dont think they will scan through all transactions but if you spend an enormous amount they would be suspicious and have more than enough incentive to take a closer look. They might even ask you to supply the receipt to prove you didnt buy a giftcard. So just be aware of that

Easy to make an impulse purchase without having to pull out your phone and navigating OzBargain or CR app for dear of missing deals/cashback.

Hi. Tried getting clarification from Coles yesterday afternoon with no luck (guessing they had bigger concerns with their nationwide IT glitch). The list of participating stores is provided by Coles and we publish as is. So the short answer is I honestly don’t know, and without confirmation from Coles I can’t advise either way. So very sorry!

I linked my card at 5:30pm, shopped at 6:30pm and nothing is showing up in "My Rewards". I've double checked my card number too.

Please read the terms on our merchant page - notification takes from 1 to 14 days (bank dependent). A few things to check too (1) is your store listed as a participating outlet? (2) did you select ‘credit’ or ‘tap’ at checkout? (3) did you purchase gift cards? (4) did you spend at least $20?
Provided you met the terms and still not tracked after 14 days, it will be because the store may have changed its EFTPOS terminal and not provided us an updated MID. In this case, simply submit a claim with your store invoice showing date, location, amount, and CC/DC last 4 digits and you will be paid, guaranteed.
