LEGO Speed Champions 2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon and 1970 Dodge Charger R/T 75893 $34.99 + del (Free w Kogan First) @ Kogan

280

Signed up to Kogan First free trial to order the smart home blinds controller and decided to browse their other stuff. Found they had this Lego set that has a RRP of $60 and is sold out everywhere. Kogans listing says it's a presale for 14 December shipping but I figured it's worth a gamble given this is a hefty discount and not readily available.

  • Preorder for a long retired set is pretty weird..

    • +1

      It's not retired

      • You're right actually

  • Great deal

  • Bought two, thanks.

    • +1

How? The product says limit of 1.

      • +2

One per order, I ordered twice.

        • Says 1 per customer, not one per order.
Did you get a bounce back email or anything for the 2nd purchase?

          • +1

@sosully: Yes, I received the 2nd order confirmation email. It is same as this deal, it says one per customer but you can buy as many as you want.

Wonder if this item will be covered by your two week free trial since it ships in about 9 werks.

It's telling me it wants $15 to send this item to Sydney. Or if I sign up to their shipping program it's $12 every 30 days. Hardly competitive with Amazon Prime.

Regardless, that is a great price for that set.

Really don't know what sort of rubbish is going on with Kogan's site, but after being rejected with three perfectly good cc details I'm taking this as a sign and walking away.

  • Never purchased from Kogan before, are they a reliable site to purchase from since they don’t accept PayPal?

    • They do take PayPal. That's how I paid

There is quite a lot more out there. I have bought from the in past but will never buy from them again.

I've not shopped from Kogan before but it's worth noting that just about all these complaints are about quality or technical goods like smartphones. With Lego, we know the quality, unless it's fake - it better not be.

        • I am waiting for a 8% cashback from CR or other discount codes so that I hope people do not pull the trigger to deplete the stock.

It is worth noting that this set had been US$24 (<US$20 by 3rd party) on Amazon US.

I don't think that's worth noting at all tbh. US gets wayyy better prices on Lego, their Walmart sales are incredibly cheap.

            • @Merlict: Hence I need a cashback offer. Pricehipster shows the lowest on Kogan was $29.99. I wonder why no one posted it at that time. Maybe the postage killed it.

  • Would order but used Kogan first already

If someone in Perth around Mt Hawthorn can be bothered, I'll grab one. Little man would enjoy this for Christmas.

      Just use another email .
All the Lego I have ordered from Kogan have been sent in a plastic satchel and of course damaged .

      • I've tried three emails now, perhaps because its same name and address they keen saying I've used my free trial. Does this actually work, using a new email, if your name and address are the same?

        • I got one order through being 2nd time with same ph / add details with different email .

  • +2

    $49.99 now

    • you should take a look today… unbelievable at $89… ditch it
