Dell 32 inch S3220DGF Curved Gaming Monitor from $999 down to $599.20. Delivery estimated between Thu. 29 Oct. and Mon. 9 Nov.

Beware this is VA, but is still a great monitor that I've been hanging out for for over a month. A bit larger than the 27's posted recently. Enjoy!

Please note that the included DP 1.2 cable in the box does not support 165Hz out of the box and has flickering issues with Freesync on Nvidia Cards. Make sure to purchase a DisplayPort 1.4 cable (here’s a Dell 1.4 original) to get HDR and the full refresh rate without issues.

    Great monitor

  • Is there a limited number of units for this sale??

    • +1

Most Dell sales seem to be manufactured to order at the moment so no limit. The main limits I’ve seen are on Limaaa’s deals as he gets some killer prices.

Thanks, wasn't aware of the cable issue!

Sharing the love, this is why OzBargain is so great

  • I bought this monitor the last time it was down at $599. It's a fantastic monitor. I am a casual gamer so not too concerned about the lowest possible refresh rates; I primarily use it for desktop work (I write code by day) and the contrast ratio is superb. When you scroll text fast, there's a very small amount of smearing but you only see it if you look for it.

I left the stand that it comes with in the box and got a VESA mount arm instead and it looks great.

    • What arm did you get out of curiosity? I'm looking at setting up something similar. Surprisingly this monitor only comes in at 7kg with a stand which isn't too bad.

It handles the weight fine if you crank up the tension bolt. The only complaint is that the tilt bolt becomes loose if you play around with the tilt. I don't change mine so it doesn't bother me, but others might have a problem with that.

        • Thanks for this I'll take a look at this model. Also how long did it take you to receive the monitor when you ordered?

          • @JSONBourne: From memory I think it was about 3 weeks.

            • @jje: I should also say you can do better than this mount arm price-wise at the moment, it's more than doubled in price since I bought it.

      • I have this monitor from last deal. Using North bayou F100A with it. About 80 bucks from Amazon au. Works well.

    • Is it easy enough to switch inputs without going through a whole bunch of menu options? Thanks!

      • You can assign short cut buttons. I assigned one to manually switch sources. It is 2 button presses to switch.

included DP 1.2 cable in the box does not support 165Hz

    Jesus Christ cheap bastards.

If you can put up with 60K then you can have 4K a bit cheaper along with Freesync, DisplayPort 1.2, HDCP 2.2, the historic USB hub [2 x 3.0] and 4H hardness for when you accidently shoot the screen…

    I'm hating this - I don't need a new monitor

      😀

      • QUT5 Works

        • Good thinking, I thought the "33% off" would be another set of deals, but if you don't try…

  • So all this needs to work with Gsync without issues is a DP 1.4 cable? Can anyone with an nvidia card confirm this please? :)

    • +2

I'm using this monitor with the DP cable that came in the box and it seems to work for me, I tested with Doom 2016 with the vulkan display driver and it was showing 165fps perfectly smooth, was able to enable gsync in Nvidia control panel as well. Haven't noticed any issues with the cable so maybe they changed it? I only received the monitor last week.

  • Saw this on amazon;

$615 from the amazon UK store

    • Not subject to Australian Consumer law AFAIK, but a good price nonetheless.

Yeah I didn't purchase for that reason as well, being left up to Amazon's whims if something goes wrong…

  • Thx I ordered one!
