  not a bad deal

  you are dealing with Lenovo's budget line so you dont have type c.

  ALso typical low quality low accuracy poor colour poor gamut ips screen and only a 35w battery which tends to limit longevity to less than what you'd be expecting but par for the course for $700 or so.

  memory is single dimm + 4gb onboard

      Just search the ozbargain site for past laptops deals around the $800 mark. You get:
      - better chassis
      - better screen ( this screen has terrible reviews)
      - better battery
      - better ram configuration
      - list goes on…

        not great, not terrible, 3.6 out of 5

        to me there's a big difference from $660 to $800

        i personally havent seen much all that compelling this time

        i kinda want a 4000 series unit and of course you want the typical things like fhd etc

        but i'd like twin dimm sockets (not a deal breaker) and type c gen 2….

        i dont care too much for 6 cores either, there's nothing i'm doing on a laptop that needs more than 4c/8t
