  • Do these actually wash any better than the Aldi ones or Earth choice ones though?

    • +1

Some people get residue/spots from the aldi ones, but not sure if that was an old formulation.

I like finish classic + aldi $2 rinse aid

      • $2 rinse aid makes all the difference!

    • +1

I used both….. these actually wash a lot better. I use Miele dishwasher

    • Choice said these Ulitmatea are the best. But Earths Choice was a pretty close second, and is much cheaper.
We’ve just moved from these Ultimates to the Earths Choice and so far there has been no noticeable difference in the quality of the clean.

    • It really depends on your washer also alot of people don't realise that their washer would have a option for when your using a tab that improves the wash outcome and instead just blame the tablet 😂

      • +1

Agree its a lot about the washer. I sometimes pour like 10ml of the crappy aldi powder on a regular cycle and everything comes out perfectly clean on a Bosch dishwasher.

However, I dont know what option you are talking about when using a tab.

      • Huh? What option?

      • also alot of people don't realise that their washer would have a option for when your using a tab that improves the wash outcome

        Please explain?

        • Read your manual. I saw that both my Samsung and bosch has settings for when using a tablet

          • @DoesntEvenMatter:

            Read your manual.

So you don't know…thanks for your input

            • @OzBragain: How exactly would I know the settings for your dishwasher! You obviously like everything served for you on a plater and can't read a manual. Yfds

              • @DoesntEvenMatter: Don't need anything served on a platter buddy, my dishwasher doesn't have a tab setting. Perhaps you'd like to give us a few examples there champ??

                • @OzBragain: Oh it probably does. You'd know if you read the manual. Again asking for more info to be served, fs. Since you seem to be pretty hopeless. Here is a video demonstration of turning on detergent tablet settings. Both my Samsung and Bosch had this and look this is another manufacturer Champ https://youtu.be/cPxWfrFaIT4

@DoesntEvenMatter: Just what we need, another keyboard warrior who knows friggin everything and demands everyone just accept their unsubstantiated claims.

Again asking for more info to be served

Nope, you made the claim so back it up or expect to be treated like a clown. No one has asked you for settings of their particular model. I've read the manual and know mine doesn't have a tablet setting.

Thanks for the video of one no name brand with a tablet setting there champ…clearly this must be replicated across many models out the the market because some random user on an internet forum says so.

                    • @OzBragain: No name brand? Beko is a no name brand to you. (profanity) how big is this rock that you live under?
Heaps of machines have this feature. Beko, bosch, miele and Samsung.

And my claim was correct. The setting exists on washer older than a few years ago and cheaper current models and you just wanted me to tell you how to do it like I (profanity) know exactly what's in your kitchen.

You obviously angry for needing to eat your words about being a complete oblivious dipshit now on the attack.

You were wrong trying to call me out on it not being true when it clearly is

I ain't your mumma to show you how to use a appliance.

I wasn't trying to be a warrior I was helping advice peope of this fact. Enjoy life under your rock.

                      • @DoesntEvenMatter: You make the claim

alot of people don't realise that their washer would have a option for when your using a tab that improves the wash outcome and instead just blame the tablet

Myself and two others ask what this feature is and your response is

                        Read your manual.

                        Which eventually degrades to

You obviously angry for needing to eat your words about being a complete oblivious dipshit now on the attack.

..and yet you can only provide an example of how to turn this setting on for one no name brand while claiming this magic tablet setting is commonplace in the market and makes more of a difference than the tablet being used. It's okay if you don't understand what this amazing tablet feature is or what is does, the internet won't think any less of you. My guess is this wizz bang tablet setting is just some marketing rubbish.

you just wanted me to tell you how to do it like I (profanity) know exactly what's in your kitchen.

You keep coming back to this but nowhere has anyone asked for details on a specific model of dishwasher. I don't have this feature, just asked why you think it makes a difference but clearly that's a little complicated for you.

I ain't your mumma to show you how to use a appliance.

I assume you've made this statement because your mother still shows you how to use new appliances…perhaps you could ask her to take out your crayons and draw you a picture if you're still struggling to understand.

You've given us all a good laugh but I think we've wasted enough time working out that you don't have any idea what this setting is or does. I'm done but feel free to have the last word if it think it'll be an internet win for you champ.

                        • @OzBragain: It's okay keyboard warrior. You are the joke in this and have provided great laughs for me, my mates and reddit. I don't need a win your stupidly has been enough entertainment. All from telling you to read your manual

  • On my Bosch dishwasher I have found the aldi ones better.

  • +1

Same price at woolworths this week.

  • There was a prime lightning deal yesterday 144 for $55. Was still too expensive for me

    • I generally try to get the finish quantum lemon sparkle for under 30c a tab where possible

    • Deal yesterday wasn’t “Pro”

    • The cheapest I've seen this was at Costco when they had the $5off/pack sale and it was 31c each.

  • On my old Bosch the Aldi were complete junk, the ultimate ones were night and day better and Aldi fill box was binned.
Just got the Bosch series 8 so may do some more testing but Ultimate have been good so far.

  • $2 cheaper here if you buy 2 -> https://www.amazon.com.au/Powerball-Quantum-Ultimate-Sparkle…

There are many eBay listing selling these for $15 per pack if you buy 5 or more

    • I bought 5x ultimate (not pro) and after one oak my dishwasher isn't cleaning properly. I'm afraid to touch this imported shit now. Probably buying a new dishwasher.

At a guess it could otherwise be the heating element failing?

All I know is the tabs (and even powder) aren't disolving fully now.

      • That's weird. In my case I tried all other tabs from Aldi, Costco and I ended up with Finish as best option working for me. I recently started using Finish Quantum pro and it is going good with my Bosch series 6 so far.

        • I meant the bulk ebay deals which are imports

I don't trust the imports now but I'm not sure if it's their fault or coincidentally something went wrong with my dishwasher (heating element?)
