Xbox 360 250GB + Kinect + Kinect Adventures + Carnival Games + 3 Months Gold for $379 @ DSE

130

Saw this advertised in the MX today. Promotion starts 17/11/2011 and ends 20/11/2011.

It's the same bundle that was on sale last week at DSE, but $20 cheaper.

Seems to be in-store only as their site has the bundle listed for $499 - http://dicksmith.com.au/product/YG5589/xbox-360-250gb-kinect…

The advertisement also mentioned a 'bonus free installation' which I looked into and it seems they give you a bonus Xbox Live 1500 points card according to this page when you take them up on the free installation. Might be worth the trouble to some.

  • Interesting. Curious if anyone knows cheapest standalone kinect?

  • For those who don't want the installation (who does?) and still want the 1500 Point card, you'll notice the two cat numbers down the bottom YG5439 & YG5589LIVE, ask for YG5589LIVE not YG5439.

The Receipt will still list the Mobile Techxpert, however it's completely up to you if you'd like to use it.

Because you'll notice the link posted in the OP about the Free installation is for the bundles, "YG5439XBOXLIVE and YG5400XBOXLIVE"

Just some inside advice for those interested ;)

    • So what do you do to just get the 1500 points??

  • Still waiting for the Xbox 4G plus Kinect for under $200! Got a feeling it is just around the corner.

    • Me too, minus the Kinect though.
You really think it will go for under $200 with the Kinect? I've never seen a Kinect package at that price, just the stand alone (sometimes with a game).

  • anyone knows if this bundle includes a wireless controller?

    • I think they all do now if it's the Slim

      • thank you , i will go for 1, it is a good deal for me:)

        • +1

Double check when you get there though, just in case.

  • The link given above does not give u the free 1500MS points:(
I went to the store and they said they need a copy of the MX yesterday to confirm and can't give me the offer without it.

    • EDIT: it does contain everything:) good offer IMO

      • i did not pick up yesterday's MX news paper…but i think this URL should work.
        i will try it later

        • Just went to the store and picked oe up:) I had taken the printout of the screen shot attached here and also the ad given in the website. After a lok of argument and explaining the DSE staff finally understood and gave this out.

        • @vercetti799: What did you say to them to get the 1500 MS points??

  • I picked one up in store today, I phoned first to make sure they had the deal in store and there were no problems, it scanned at $379. Great deal, thanks!

  • u guys/gals reckon it's cheaper to buy for $379 or wait till boxing day sale?

  • +4

Guys FYI I used the $25 off online code from here: http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/57406.
I selected collection so no shipping fee and price was $354 which I think is an absolute steal for the 250gb console with kinect etc.

    • Just rang my local store and they insisted price was $499, so I followed your lead shaiguy. Hopefully I'll be picking it in 2 hours for $354. I'm hoping the guy that spoke to me on the phone serves me ;)

    • Just did this as well. Picking one up for $354. I plan on hopefully selling the Kinect and games for ~$100

    • this is cool, i just get the $379 offer, thanks for sharing

    • hi, how u selected collection? i couldnt find it on the ordering online page, all is delivery

  • Just picked it up for 354 at the Ashfield store. Too easy I told them I didn't want the installation which they were fine with.

    • my order is/was stuck on "pending" on their system for 3hrs+ and the manager at the Queen St store won't give me the $354 package until it comes through on their end. Going to call up Internet sales tomorrow and see if they can sort it out.
