Funny how they say so much about the material, without actually telling us what kind of plastic it is. Why so coy?

    • Doing some internet hunting, I came across some other Bodum Pavina products which referred to Polycarbonate as the plastic of choice. Just don't burn it.

      • Polycarbonate is good (if you need something tougher than glass). I wish they just say it.
Maybe because of the BPA scare a while back?

    • Knowing Myer, probably because they have NFI. :)

    • Because, marketing. The words plastic cup devalue the brand/product so they dance around it.

Strange doesn't seem like for hot drinks like you'd expect from Bodum. All marketing targets other food. Would probably avoid this as a coffee cup

  • I noticed DJ clearing all their pavinas awhile back- maybe plastic from now on? Boo
