With a lot of Xiaomi Ultrawide Monitor deals lately (I have one now and it is awesome), many of you might be looking for a better way to manage the screen real estate and might benefit from this deal. I was just testing the coupon by changing the month and year from the previous deal posted here and it gave me the 65% for the perpetual license.

Following are also available to be purchased using the same coupon:
DisplayFusion Pro Personal Home License (unlimited PC)
DisplayFusion Pro Company Site License

If you are after something simple without too many features, Fancy Zones - part of PowerToys, does a pretty good job too. And it's free.

    https://github.com/microsoft/PowerToys

    • +1

Dell Display Manager is free (for Dell owners). NVIDIA Quadro View is free (for QUADRO owners). Ultrawide monitor users are handicapped without window management.

    • +1

Big +1 for PowerToys. Game changer for me

    • I've used windock (also free) for years.

    • Most of the current PowerToys aren't useful for me, but if they add maximize to zone functionality to fancy zones then I can see myself dropping displayfusion

    • This. I basically stopped using DisplayFusion because of it. I wish the FancyZones could be more easily customised to create ratios/exact sizes but I'm happy to concede on this given how light it is vs having DF installed.

Most of these features are already built into windows 10.

    • +7

This is a common misconception. It does a way lot more.

    • +2

Some and not most. This software is much more flexible. Features listed below is useful for me:
      1. Toggle fade the screen to dark if not in focus.
      2. Allow fullscreen game running while operating the other monitor for web.
      3. Toggle lock cursor from fullscreen windows while playing game.

      • +1

Doesn't 'full screen borderless' function of windows sort out 2 & 3? That's what I always used when full screen gaming with OBS/Discord/TS3/Chatty open on other screen.
I'm interested in how/why number 1 works for you? As in what use case?

        • +1

Instead of turning off the monitor, when I am concentrating on 1 monitor (example, during gaming), I fade the other screen to almost black. When I am waiting to re-entering the game, I can un fade the screen so that I can check emails etc.. while still having the game running in Fullscreen.

          • @Black Hole: I do the same thing.

Also, when you have wide monitors, if you are coding, or word processing etc, you can spend a long time looking at items on the far left of your screen… with Display Fusion, you can set up window position profiles, that can be triggered with hotkeys and per app! So for example, when I have Visual Studio Code open, I can hit a key and it will postion the leftmost part of the screen near the middle (where I chose) so I can be writing code looking straight on the monitor.

Monitor fading, as mentioned above, is hugely epic too. That was the feature that had me search out Display Fusion.

Love this software. Buy it at this price!

This is the best software for multi monitors set up.

OP's guesswork coincides with their current promotion on BITSDUJOUR

This deal will expire in 6 hours as of time of writing. Be QUICK!

    • Thanks! I wanted the Pro Personal version, so this was perfect.

  • omg been waiting for this software to be discounted forever. worth it

  • Comes up as $14.48 AUD if I change currency to AUD then put in coupon code.

  • Thanks, OP. I just recently got a secondary monitor and had been using the trial of DisplayFusion and was planning to buy the Pro Personal version. Perfect timing.

  • Bought it and it is great for the Xiaomi 34" ultra wide. Thanks!

Good software bought before in a humble bundle deal,
    Good software

  • Dannggg clever dude. I bought it full price two weeks ago. At least I got it on steam tho, so easy installation wherever I go.

    • Just curious, which version did you buy last week? Looks like the Pro Personal is $21 with this code, and includes a free upgrade for an optional Steam key in addition.

      • Pretty sure I bought Pro Personal, the unlimited computer use one, on steam. $50 without discount iirc, since I needed it + it's the best software out there. Wish I'd had the smarts to try out the code!

  • +3

Differences between versions can be a little confusing, just had a read through. Looks like for $5 more (~$21), you can get the Pro Personal license with this code, which allows you to install on an unlimited amount of devices for personal use (as opposed to just the 1), as well as gives you an optional additional free Steam license key you can use to add it to your Steam library as well (goes for $49.95 on Steam).

  • Ok sorry for being a noob but I’ve downloaded other software that simply just put your software on one side or the other of the screen
What I’m after is a software that will make the computer think the screen is two different monitors (I.e. screen 1&screen 2) and then duplicating screen 2 with a seperate physical monitor
Without getting negged, can someone tell me if that’s possible?

    • FYI, done in hardware it's called "Picture By Picture" (PBP) feature.

      • I don’t have the Xiaomi ultrawide, I have the Kogan 34inch ultrawide but I’ll check the settings

      • Not available on all monitors unfortunately :(

    • +2

It can definitely do monitor splitting, but I'm unsure about duplicating a split monitor to another physical monitor. I've only recently started using it and it has a lot of really powerful features.

    • Can't seem to find any reliable software which can do this - been looking for a little while as well :/

      • :/ really need this for work where I want to show the client something on a display but not show the other half of the screen

        • This use-case is where your own monitor #1 shows two virtual desktops - (1) your "own" desktop, and (2) clone of desktop on monitor #2 as seen by clients, correct?

If you're trying to do that on same monitor, you'd use built-in Windows 10 Multiple Desktops feature - but you'd need to juggle between the desktops.

          • @AlexF: You're right
Are you saying to use the Windows 10 Multiple Desktops in conjunction with the Display Fusion?

            • @Alialh: Crude version of what you want: have multiple monitors in "Clone" mode, and two Windows 10 Multiple Desktops - yours and client's - you'd juggle between the two, although, your customer will see yours if you do that.

Had to google to understand full potential. Boy, it sure looks worth the price. Cheers OP.

  • Thanks OP ! This came at a great time because i'm buying a Xiaomi when the next sale pops up.

  • Been waiting on this sale since my initial WFH trial ended months ago!

  • Good stuff. Just what I need. Cheers.

I guess we can contact support to speed it up.

  • Great software and License allows you to install on your work computer as well.

  • Great for putting different hentai wallpapers on different monitors.

  • I use display fusion for years now. Love it. I will recommend this for anyone with a large screen

  • I love their highlight window hotkey feature. Put a custom colour border around any open window - very useful if you have 2 apps of the same open e.g. comparing 2 excel sheets.

    • I have found the link to set this up with script. Is there an easier way to do this?

      • I set up the hotkey via 'functions' tab:

Right click Display Fusion system tray icon -> Settings
        Functions tab (just below Options)
Its under the section 'Window Management' -> Highlight Window , I set mine to Ctrl Win H

  • Thanks OP

  • Purchases yesterday, still haven't received credentials 🤨

    • I bought it too, i had to look in my spam folder to find the license key email.

  • Best software I have purchased for 34" ultrawide monitor.

  • darnit missed it
