I was recently at my local market after a 3 month hiatus - and it was
shocking to see merchants without masks on while serving, and customers with them on incorrectly while picking produce (noses out etc.) - you'd think people would've learnt by now.should you be eating and dirnking with heave traffic in front of you?

Either this is a pricing error, Low quality mask or Sellers Ebay account got hacked and this is just a way of obtaining peoples detail.

13,026 sold and counting at the rate of 1000+ per hour. Let's assume they are losing ~$5 per transaction. Is it quite normal for an ebay seller to burn ~$60K in order to get positive feedback? Do people who grab $1 item actually bother to leave any feedback?
are you assuming the 13000 orders were all sold at below cost? most of them are probably all bought at overpriced prices, when there was a mask shortage a while ago and sellers jacked prices to crazy amounts. the store probably made way over 60k in profit just selling pricejacked masks. I reckon this price won't hurt them at all.
@skido: 13000 orders (now almost 16000) were placed for this exact listing which was created 09 Oct, 2020. AFAIK there was no mask shortage ten days ago.
They have more than 100,000 feedback already. That can’t be it. More likely a pricing error and someone is waking up to a nasty surprise tomorrow.
98.3% isn't that good tho. 99.8% above is the gold standard. Besides, they shipped all the orders from their previous deal, which was 10 masks for $1 each
