    Generally how many days it took for past promotions with energy Australia to get cash rewards approval? It mentioned up to 180 days.

    That's $350 in total credits/cashback if you sign up to electricity & gas. On the assumption that you can sign up, get your first bill with $150 credits applied, then reassess if you need to move out to your preferred supplier, I think you will still be miles ahead despite EA potentially charging higher than your other preferred supplier. You should still stand to get the $200 cashback after moving out from EA.

      If we can double stack the cash back and credits then this definitely a good deal even if EA is more expensive. As soon as you receive the credits and cash back just change to the cheapest provider via the Government compare energy.

    if i'm in VIC and i signup for new EA for both electricity, does that mean

    i get
    from EA

    VIC
    Electricity $50 sign-up credit
    Gas $50 sign-up credit

    so 100 from EA as CREDIT

    and from CR

    New Gas & Electricity Signups $200.00
    New Electricity Signups $110.00
    New Gas Signups $90.00

    so 200 from CashRewards? which might take 180 days to clear (but someone above mentioned around 3 months 90 days for them)

    the first sentence says Total Plan, is it limited to Total Plans only? so not applicable to No Frills plans?

      Yes. I just spoke with EA who confirmed that the Total Plan and No Frills are eligible for credit however I'd stick with the Total Plan since its called out specifically for the CR rebate.

        I signed up with No Frills and the cashback did not track. It's only for Total Plans (the one that you see in the direct link).

    Just a heads up as a current EA customer. I went to service nsw website and used their energy supplier comparison / switch tool to determine if worth switching. I then went back to EA with the results asking why I should stay when I can get supply for 15% less as reported by the site. They have now sketched me to a plan that is cheaper then any reported and also threw in the $75 credit offer.

    Took a phone call and an escalation as I did not accept for the first offer, but in the end worth it.
