Free delivery over $100. Pretty lame to price it at $99.

    • +1

Still cheaper than other retailers, looks to start around $250?

    • +1

For those curious, the cheapest item to pass the $99 threshold is a replacement buckle for $9.95 - coincidentally the same price for shipping.

    • Exactly what I thought.

Poor marketing, better to advertise $109 free delivery!!

      • That’s worse for anyone wanting more than one but.

        • you mean, twin set?? one on the front, one on the back?!
          lol

  • How are these compared to say Baby Bjorn, Safe n Sound etc? FB marketplace is littered with these around $30. Most would probably be used a handful of times i would think.

    • In a lot of ways this is a better carrier than a Baby Bjorn. Our only problem was the youngin was pretty small so didn't fit properly until he was a few months old but this provides much more support for parent and bub compared to Bjorn for example (we also have a newish Bjorn)

    • +4

Have the Baby Bjorn and i love it, my wife hates it. So we got the Omni 360 and she loves that, i hate it.

      • What make the Baby Bjorn better? What do you hate about the 360? Cheers

    • I prefer this one to the Bjorn. Not sure if it's because I've just used the Ergo more so am more used to it but I find it easier to take the baby in and out.

      • had Bjorn one and Ergo air
Ergo much easier to get bubz in and out especially if doing it yourself

    • This is better for sure, not the best if baby is pretty small but otherwise great.

Can pick them up used for $20 to $30 in fine condition.

  • +2

Got a friend having a kid - hopefully this is something they can use as it's now going to be their baby-shower gift.

    • +6

If we got this when my wife had a baby shower, we'd be pretty wrapt.

  • +1

Got it for $149 including delivery a year ago.

    • Me too. It is absolutely the best thing I have for my baby.

This thing + standing desk = able to use my computer when the little guy it taking a nap.

It is also amazing when going out shopping, etc. Took him to the zoo and didn't get at all tired carrying him around.

      • Yes, also good if your baby doesn't like being put down you can chuck them in the Ergo whilst doing housework as well.

    • +1

I got the Cool Air Mesh for $149. This seems like a different model.

      • You are right. I got the cool air mesh version too.

Shipping is also $9 for this… and the cheapest thing I could find to knock it over $100 is a replacement buckle… for $10.

        https://ergobaby.com.au/collections/buckles/products/ergobab…

      • So is this not cool air mesh??

      • I got the cool air mesh at that price too. But I also had this version first before selling it.

They are both omni 360/ The only significant difference is the mesh at the front which makes it supposedly cooler in warmer weather. And if I remember correctly this one has buttons to switch between front facing and rear facing whereas the cool air mesh just has this thing that slides up and down which is much easier. But for $50 saving (or whatever it is once you add shipping), pretty good I think. The mesh at the front I feel is more a gimmick.

        • I purchased the lilac mesh for 229 recently. Hasnt been fullfilled yet.

Should i cancel and go for this?

        • We got the original 360, then sold it and got the old cool air 360 second hand and also got the 360 omni cool air when it was $149. Pros and cons for all 3. We got the cool air as we tend to travel in hot asian countries so it was better for summer. Winter we just wack on some extra layers.

The omni cool air (new) has sliding things instead of buttons to switch from front facing to back facing and doesnt require an insert for new borns. Has front pocket that you can put money phone etc. they changed the way you tighten the straps on the omni which made it harder (for me anyways) to tighten upper straps. Thats the only annoying con. That and sometimes the slidy thing can move and the padding is a lot thicker on the omni cool air compared to the old cool air.

All 3 were really comfy and can carry baby for hours. Have not tried to do this with toddler though

    Hi Rep,

Could you price the Cool Air mesh at $150 as some of the previous deals?

    • Would be interested in this too rep.

    • Would be interested, although I’ve grabbed the $99 one for now.

  • A good price for a quality baby carrier!

  • So these are really good quality???

  • can vouch for the quality. great carrier and I believe on fb marketplace second-hand is about this price too.

  • +1

    Ergonomic babies? Nice

    • Yes. It's this comment right here officer. This is the one I was talking to you about on the phone call just now.

  • Are these things ok for babies hips? Is there an alternative with better hip handling?

    • +1

This is the brand we had - from memory my partner insisted on it because it was the best for the baby's hips.

We had the normal one first, ended up selling and buying the cool mesh one during summer

      • +1

Thank you very much for your input, much appreciated!

        • +1

No worries. It was really great to be able to carry the little tacker around and still have your hands free. Plus she slept well in it too.

Long time ago now, she's in school next year…

    • Better for their hip pocket.

  • Yea these are way better for babies hips than Baby Bjorn ones.

  • The only thing my kid would sleep in, highly recommend. But don't buy thinking that the 'on the back' is even possible to do with a kid, have tried a bunch and it's super awkward. So more of a 180 than 360.

    • I've tried wearing it on my back. It's okay if your kid is a bit older but then they lose the view (will be looking at your back) so they might not like that. Would agree that it's more of a 180 than 360. (Facing inwards for sleep and facing outwards for views whilst awake.)

      • Yep. Ive never tried it on the back either. Too much hassle. Make toddler walk. 🤣 more like make daddy carry toddler.

  • I paid almost $300 a few months ago. Good product. Can't believe it's going for so cheap!

  • +1

Ordered it for my sister whose due very soon. 😄

  • carries up to 20kg

    • +12

I bought 3 so I could carry my wife around.

  • mate that's heavy boom tish

suggest buying a dog house so you have somewhere to sleep tonight

  • Omni 360 grows with you from week 1 to 36 months

No way I'd want to carry a 36 month old around for an extended period of time, they're heavy buggers at that age!

    • +1

Yeah that's ridiculous. From about 18 months you're better off using one of those hiking bag style child carriers than this. More expensive and bulkier but WAY more comfortable.

That or just get your kid to walk themselves.

    • +5

Or if you want to pick one up you can price beat it at baby bunting by 5%. Ended up paying $94.05

  • very cheap, got $150 a year ago for the mesh version.

    • Same as I got, I like the mesh for the summer though for sure.

      • yea didnt realise baby are super hot, good idea to get a mesh one. im in qld as well

        • Your own tiny heater.

  • +4

    Thanks OP!

Perfect timing. Baby due in 6 weeks. Was going to borrow an older Ergobaby carrier off a mate.

But for this price might as well have my own.

    • +1

      Congrats!

    • +1

Congratulations! You won't regret the purchase. you're going to have that little one in your arms an awful lot the next few years, may as well have them securely strapped in!

  • +1

Purchased. That's a massive discount, i've been looking for a few months and haven't seen them under $300

  • Purchased! Though I would have been happy to pay more for the mesh version if offered for $150.

  • +2

Just grabbed one from baby bunting. They price beat it by 5%.

    • +1

Ahhhhh dammit. Buyers remorse kicking in.

    • +1

Dammit! Just thought of this as well.. going to see if I can cancel my order and then head on over to Baby Bunting…

      $14 is $14 :)

    • $99 + $9 shipping - 5%? or did they match the $99 - 5% outright?

      • Sounds like pedder is doing a pickup in store.

      • They just price matched $99. Total came to $94.05

        • Hope you actually got it..

          Edit - wrong person

    • And on that note, called Ergobaby and cancelled my order.. going to head down to Baby Bunting soon… :)

      OzBargain life!

      • Hope you actually got it with it going OOS.

        • Nope… got there, they added to cart and it was out of stock.. so no carrier for me :(

  • Would've been a nice deal a year ago

  • Picked one up along with a $29 Swaddler for the free shipping (thought at least that's something we will probably use instead of the replacement buckle). Thanks for posting

    • +2

I ordered one with swaddler as well. In time, my baby daughter is due in 7 weeks. Soooooo excited :)

      • Congratulations! We are still ages away, about 14 weeks into pregnancy :)

  • +1

fantastic have daughter 2 due in a few months so perfect timeing!

  • ERGOBABY 360 OMNI COOL AIR MESH ERGO BABY Carrier PEARL GREY Colour AU STOCK on ebay for $165 is that a good price?

    • Sounds reasonable. Having used both the mesh is definitely better for summer (though you will still get a bit sweaty on the hot days regardless).

edit - scratch that, its a major bargain. Regular price is $350.

    • careful of fakes tho.

  • +1

thanks bought as a baby shower gift for any future babies.

    • +4

would you like to come to my baby shower?

  • 404 not found?

  • Seems to be OOS.

  • A doctor friend recommended this to me. Apparently it is the only one you want as it Is the best for their hips and knees. So glad it came on sale because I am not on doctor $$$. Looks like they might be sold out now though as I just clicked again and got error 404 page not found.

  • Noooo!! I was in the middle of having it price matched at baby bunting!!!

    • Oh man, sorry to hear

    • +1

Exact same thing happened to me… they were fluffing around and calling everyone in to see the price being so low, and I'm so sure if they had matched it when I got there, there would have been stock. Thanks Baby Bunting Penrith…

  • +2

Got it from Baby Bunting 30 mins back ! They price matched for 94 AUD

    • lucky!

    • Which store did you manage to get it from ?

      • Both Auburn and Blacktown said yes to me.

      • Auburn

        • Are you able to upload a photo of the receipt so I can try purchase one from the auburn store ?

  • +2

Kicking myself I didnt check yesterday… Rep could you release a few more at this price? Pretty please?

  • Don't ever bother to price match with Baby Bunting over the phone.
This is very different to Officeworks price beat guarantee which you can receive approval over the phone and pick up later in store.

Long story short, I wanted to pick up from the store near me.
I requested a price match over the phone. Baby Bunting verified the price on the phone, took a screenshot for proof and sent it to their price match team. I was told that I will get an email from them within the next 24 hours. I enquired why if it is sold out? Baby Bunting assured me they have the screenshot. At this point I was expecting them to get back to me with a voucher code or something.

Late afternoon I received an email from Baby Bunting saying the website gave 404 error.
Then they claimed they can't price match because this was a clearance item as stated in their terms and conditions:
Stock liquidations (ie competitor clearance products or goods sold by a business placed into administration)
I argued that this was a sale item (not stock liquidations and Baby Ergo is not placed into administration!).
Baby Bunting also sated that offers should not have been honoured in their stores for this item.

what a bullcrap so much for their price promise.
