Just goes to show the extreme markup that Zazz adds to the gadgets that they sell…

    • Oops. Pays to do your homework. I've revoked my own vote! :-/

  • I bought one about a year ago on ebay for $6 for my son.
These need a very strong light (or super bright sun) to work, and in general not worth my $6.

Make sure you can return the pieces if you are not happy with it :)

Zazz usually sells crap you will never use or need.

  • I bought one from deal extreme about 6 months ago on sale for $5. At $5 its only just good value then.

  • I bought a few of these last Christmas for randoms . But paid a lot less , Like less than half of what this deal is .

I bought this last year and it was really rubbish. Don't part with your cash for this!

  • Bought this some months ago for a few bucks. Ended up throwing it in the garbage. It's crap!

  • Yeah I submit the same deal on Zazz 2 years back and OzBargain showed me that doing a bit more homework pays the price. I bought for $12.99 where OzBargain shows that I can get the exact same thing for $3.
Never again I trust these group buy sites =(
    Thanks OzB

  • Hi,
Bought one of these from Cheap as Chips for $6 a few days ago - my son hasn't played with it yet so no idea about quality.

    • intelligent boy

      • Maybe he's not interested in cheap Chinese toys :)

    • Oooops - I meant to say Neds but I think they were in a recent Cheap as Chips catalogue too!

  • I got abused last time I suggested that an item that -looked- like this could be bough elsewhere cheaper. If you're an arrogant jerk, flame away :)

I bought something that looked like this for $5 at Cheap as Chips about two weeks ago. On this basis, I recommend NO DEAL.

[dons flame proof underpants after the last round of abuse]
