Restocked 31-10-20

Hi everyone,

I've had so many calls and emails over the past week, the enthusiasm from Ozbargainers for Hayfever relief is really overwhelming!

So many Ozbargainers apparently don't know which anthisimine works best for them and want to try different types. So I thought I'd put together a "sampler" of our most popular products.

10x Trust Loratadine 10gm (Generic Claratyne)
10x Trust Fexit 180mg (Generic Telfast)
10x Trust Cetirizine (Generic Zyrtec)

= 30 Tablets total.

LINK: https://pharmacysavings.com.au/products/hayfever-trio-10-x-l…
CODE: trio
PRICE: $12.99 (Delivered After Code)

Please read the labels on the boxes, please don't take the variants simultaneously and please consult your doctor or pharmacist if you have adverse reactions.

The last deal was pretty popular so I have restocked it:

50 x Chemists' Own Loratadine Tablets
CODE: lorastyne
PRICE: $9.39 after code
DELIVERY: FREE AUSTRALIA WIDE
https://pharmacysavings.com.au/products/50-x-loratadine-tabl…

For those looking for bulk volume pricing (I know this is the Ozbargainer way) I have also restocked - the best value deals posted previously:

Finally thanks to everyone who has ordered, all previous orders have dispatched with the exception of order #4193, #4309 (guys please check your email address), delivery is currently being reported now as between 7-8 working days to most of Australia
with Victorians still reporting anywhere from 7-21 working days. If Ozbargainers could please resist the keyboard warrior urge within all of us to send me emails on the 8th working day it will allow me to spend more time finding and posting deals and less time emailing clients. If anyone has a genuine belief their item is lost in transit of course please contact me by pm, email or phone and I'll work with you to resolve any issue. Thanks Jason

    Allergy/Hayfever Trio Pack, 10x Fexo + 10x Cetirizine + 10x Loratadine

What about Claratyne and Zyrtec ?

    • Do you like paying mark ups for brand names?

      • Depends on the item and the brand.

        • In this case, paying 2-3x for the same active ingredient would hopefully fall into the 'no thanks' category.

          • @chicky682: You're not just paying for active ingredients though, I prefer the premium fillers and appreciate the extra effort on the packaging…

  • First time customer! Order placed!! Wish me luck with auspost…..

    • luck doesn't help.

      • +1

        Agreed.

Still waiting for my Bonds order from 30 sep :)

  • +1

Try swallow chopped fresh garlic it helps to reduce high fever

    • people are busy in taking tablets hahaha

    • +2

^ this. I actually take garlic/horseradish tablets every day during winter and boy.. oh boy.. does it save me a few runny noses in spring!

      • -1

        link pls

        • +1

Its a bit too late to be taking it now. You're supposed to take it in winter before spring arrives. Go to chemist warehouse and type in garlic horseradish. Cenovis and Natures Own produce them… as do a few of the other big supplement companies.

          • @hash88: Which one you took?

            Why not now anymore 😭

            • @capslock janitor: Its more an immune system defence supplement. Hence, you have to take it in advance of hayfever season hitting you.

              • @hash88: which ones you used
                https://www.chemistwarehouse.com.au/search?searchtext=garlic…

how many years you tried this method works?

                • @capslock janitor: Cenovis and Natures Own.

3 years its worked for me :)

                  • @hash88: Have a look into an allergy specialist / immunologist in your area that can prescribe Oralair.
Over the course of three years, this (and some other products) can literally cure hayfever for some people.
This is very dependent on the cause of the hayfever, hence the need for a specialist.

                    • @thedriver: No thanks. Its a case of cost. $350 for oralair vs $18 for garlic/horseradish tablet.

Also… once you take oralair… it needs to be taken every single year so the $$$ would start to add up very quickly.

Is it possible to develop a tolerance to a certain antihistamine? Is it more effective to say, switch type each hayfever season?

    • +1

I found this is true in my case, so I end up cycling between 2 or 3 that work for me.

    • Yup. I usually pop a different pill type every few days to make sure I dont become tolerant to them

  • Nice, I can add this to my current collection which includes telefast (two versions), Clarytine, zyrtec and 2x zyrtec sprays

  • Order placed 12 oct, still not received. No tracking, the only advice cs gives is to wait.

    • +2

I ordered 70x Hayfexo on the 12th of Oct, shipped on the 13th and arrived on the 22nd. I'm based in Vic, hopefully yours should come soon!

      • You’re lucky, I’m in the same boat and still waiting

    • I don't think they provide tracking, or even notification that they've shipped.. however they do show up eventually, I was close to emailing asking where it was when mine arrived

      • +1

There is no tracking on standard orders unless satchel shipping is selected at checkout - every order receives a dispatch confirmation email, please re-check for this or PM and I will happily re-send. Many Ozbargainers are paranoid about providing an email address (not required to make an order) this makes dispatch confirmations very hard to send ;-)

Ahh, just ordered these generic claratynes yesterday .. :(
I've ordered from them a couple of times in the past and been happily using their generic claratyne (loratadine). All good..and saved heaps $$$ from buying Claratyne.

Another option is buying Kirkland's (Costco) loratadine from the US…takes a long time to arrive tho (and might as well support local stores if you can):

  • thanks OP

  • Thx OP. Will give it a shot

  • Thanks OP, ordered bulk Fexo.

  • Excellent. I don't need a huge supply so this is exactly what I'm needing. Thanks OP!

My 10 year old has nasty hayfever. Is there anything available apart from nasonex spray that you can give to a 10 year old?

    • +1

This. Anything which you can offer for children please?

My 6year old gets hit badly by hayfever.

    • +1

      see a doctor……….

    • +2

Nasonex is a life saver, make sure you spray it correctly and know it takes a few days to work and is best if you start early in the season.

Its the only treatment I've seen that works well.

Also almost everyone sprays it incorrectly including most doctors so read the packet or watch the youtube.

      https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tnEre7FHUAQ

Most people seem to breathe it in and inhale it, which is not right.

Also adults and kids bottles is exactly the same just a different bottle.

So if your kid can use the adult bottle get that one it use to work out a lot cheaper.

      • Thank you. Was definitely applying it incorrectly

  • Is there anything around these days similar to the no longer available Avil? it was the only thing that worked for my wife

  • Damn, must have just missed it. Will you be adding more stock?

    • +2

Please leave it with me, I will call our Rep and use my charm to see if I can secure more OzB appropriately priced stock.

      • One more buyer here =)

I've just finished packing all Ozb orders - have 5 more sets in stock, have updated website to reflect remaining units.

      • Awesome, just got a pack! Thanks Jason

  • Is there a way to notify myself once it’s back in stock?

I have tried Hayfex but it hasn’t helped as much as actual Telfast, keen to get this deal so I can see which one work the best.

    • Please check, limited stock relisted.

      • Can I ask what the expiry is on these? Thanks

          Cetirizine - 11/22
          Fexit - 02/23
          Loratadine 05/22

      • got some this time . Thanks ! =)

  • Haha hey I ordered this the last time you posted it 28 Sept) but I haven't received it yet ..wondering if it's normal to take months? Haha

    • No not normal - unless you are in Victoria, then 21 working days is pretty normal (which is practically 1 month) - Can you pm me with your order number so I can check.

      • We’re in Melbourne- took about 4 days. Thx

  • Received my order today, thanks jason.

  • Thanks OP, just ordered.

It's a shame you got a lot of hassles for the delays in shipping over the last few months I'm guessing.

A combo like this but with the Chemists's Own Mometasone Furoate Spray also added would be a good idea?, so 10x tabs each (30 tabs) + spray.
    Just an idea.
