Xiaomi Mi 9 Lite (Dual SIM 128GB/6GB, 48MP) $429 + Shipping @ Mobileciti

70

Seems like a cheap price for a good spec smartphone.

Edit: cheaper on ebay, still seems like a really good deal given the specs

  • How does this compare to the Mi 10 $627 deal the other day?
Worth spending the extra for the 10?

Would be coming from a Moto G5 plus

Mi 10 Lite is $449 at Kogan for 128GB

$20 more for a decent upgrade (SoC and longer update)

    • Would you recommend Mi 10 Lite or Xiaomi Poco X3?

Mi 10 Lite is more premium with very good AMOLED screen (bright enough 600 nits, HDR) and 5G chipset. It lacks SD card though so you should consider 128GB version. Other than that they should be the same performance and camera wise (fairly close although SD765 should edges ahead of SD732).

Personally I don't care about HRR LCD screen as much as a good proper AMOLED screen. Most of the time you spend would be watching website or videos anyway, only a few games would support HRR.

I bought it at OW about a month ago for $173. Was on the clearance and last one ! Lucky me. It is a great phone, picture quality is great. Just annoyed when dialing a number and then hang up by itself even without reaching the number. But the second call is fine. Weird.

Why would anyone buy this over the Poco X3? This has much worse specs and is more expensive

  • I purchased this phone exactly a year ago for $370 with the Catch gift card discount thingy and it's been a great phone, no issues to date.

The rear light up emblem (Xiaomi) is a cool feature. I really dislike the under screen finger print reader though, it's very hard to get it the first time

    • Yeah, I feel you. Always have to put in PIN after shutting down the phone overnight. I guess one of a 'feature' that Xiaomi needs to fix.

      • My Oppo does that too, must be an Android feature. But yeah crappy finger scanners aren't ideal now I've gotten so used to using it

Always have to put in PIN after shutting down the phone overnight.

        Its an android security feature.

My lg v20 does this also after a restart.
