Pay with Tap & Zip and Earn $50 Credit Once You Reach $1,000 Spend

150

Slightly different deal to this one: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/577607

Offer is limited to the first transaction per day at a store, and is available to both apple and Android. I clicked on "Your Zip" in the app and activated this under rewards. I did not receive any email from Zip so not sure if it's targeted.

What is Credit Back? Or does this mean Zip will credit you back 5% of the purchase. Or does Apple do it, is there a limit on the number of transactions? Seems to say one per day.

  • Doesn’t appear in my app but thanks for sharing!

  • Appears to be targeted. Nothing in Your Zip

  • Pay with Zippay and Earn 5% Credit Back up to $50 on Any Device

    I don't think it's up to $50.

My understanding from the terms is that the $50 is a reward goal and you only get that credit if you hit the $50 target.

You may only redeem the credit back you accumulate using your Tap & Zip card when the credit back reaches AUD$50 (“Reward Goal”)

You'd have to spend a minimum of $1000 split over multiple transactions to get the $50.

For each Eligible Transaction less than AUD$100, you will earn 5% credit back. For each Eligible Transaction equal to or greater than AUD$100, you will earn AUD$5 credit back.

    • I think you're right, updated title to reflect.

      • Not up to $50, minimum $50. If you earn $49, you'll get $0.

I also wonder if its blocks of $50 rewards goals you have to earn to receive. If you earn $51, do you receive $51 or $50?

        • has anyone contacted zip to confirm this ? its important to know incase you spend under $1000 you might miss out and get nil cash back.
