  • +3

Great, Liquorland cashback just in time for the election.

    • -2

      Excuse moi, quelle election?

      • -1

        Um some minor country.

    • +1

I don't think the timezone works out for the election night coverage unless you're a day drinker

  • up to 12% cashback on Nike, goes to page and not 1 cashback rate of 12%?

  • +1

Does 3rd party seller eligible for cash back from catch? Or only eligible for catch as seller only?
    Looking to get a laptop.

  • +1

Still waiting for Shopback to register my purchase during the last Iconic cashback deal.

  • +8

Shopback is hit and miss, I'd avoid if its not something you'd buy anyway even without any cashback. They never respond to claims and make bs excuses not to give you cashback. Not worth the time even if you nag them and managed to get it at the end after several months and dozens or more emails.

    • +4

My personal experience with shopback has been great. Have used it nearly since the start and I can't remember ever chasing them up for a missed track. Works every time for me and cashout is quick as. I just click the chrome extension if on the computer or use the app if on my phone.

Conversely I went to shopback as cash rewards seemed to miss many tracks for me. Could never figure out why so changed to shopback and haven't had a problem.

      • For me it's the other way round, Cashrewards seem to have a larger team whos got manpower to respond almost within the hour. If any issues with cashback, they explain in detail very politely, compared to Shopback who just replies saying 'its not attributed to shopback' without giving any other reason. I'm still waiting for a $45 cashback for a purchase i did on ebay sitewide sale a few months back, last email i sent a week back asking to explain why it is "not attributed" but not response to date.

        • Are you running ad blockers or something seeing as you are also having to chase cash rewards for missed tracks as well?
Seems you have a problem somewhere if you are having to contact both companies to use their customer service people to chase things up.

          • @Skurfer: Cashrewards i had to chase up because sometimes i miss to re-activate the extension before adding stuff to cart (small $ value things). Anyway auto-tracking is not the point here.
The particular $45 cashback i was extra careful because it was a big purchase on ebay, I took all necessary steps to have it tracked.
PS: reminds me their first response to this claim from Debra (probably a bot?): "We have investigated and found that the merchant has deemed ShopBack ineligible to earn commissions on this transaction which results in us being unable to pass the cashback along to you."

If it was a sitewide ebay cashback promotion, would individual sellers matter? It was not on T&C

      • Exactly the same for me Skurfer. No problems at all with Shopback and loads of misses from Cashrewards even though I followed all the instructions and terms/conditions carefully.

      • I've had many issues with Shopback, not tracking the correct amount but they always responded quickly and rectified it. Customer service has always been very good but the way the cashback is done seems to be a big problem. You definitely need to check each transaction to see if it's right. Who knows if they give a lower amount on purpose and hope that customers don't bother checking or their system has serious issues? Maybe both. Only once an item didn't track and it was a big one. It was sorted in a few days and they gave a bonus for it too, doubled it to $100. For me it's about 1 in 4 transactions there is some sort of issue.

    • +1

Exactly the same experience. Shopback is very hit and miss. Things would not track or randomly track at zero even if it meets the T&C's. Customer service is useless.

They used to be good. Now I go with CR where I can.

      • +2

I'm the exact opposite, even though sometimes my shop back doesn't track I have never had a problem with customer service

Whereas I found cash rewards absolutely impossible to do with

    • +2

Both CR and SB are hit and miss but when I lodge tickets with SB I always get the cashback, while with CR it never happens, even with photographic proof like I do with SB, apparently there is never a record of the purchase for the original site.

      • Photographic proof? Screenshot of checkout page?

  • Iconic stack with the 25% off code on Westpac cards. Being a promo code, I'd assume not?

    • Is this with a Westpac credit card?

      • yeah, its in the westpac rewards area. just a promo code though. Not an amex style credit

  • catch is having 10% storewide with code CATCHVIP48H - i wonder if the 10% cashback stack with this.. normally they wont allow certain discount codes

    • When will this code become active? It's currently coming up as "Coupon not currently availableā€œ

      • -1

for catchclub member only.. but you can do 1 month free trial

        • Oh wow winning. Could even stack with gift cards. Thank you buddy!

        • Sorry just realised cashback with Shopback is not eligible when paying with gift cards :(

        • +2

I'm a catch member and not working for me. Previously these coupons were targeted. Could be spent too much on the account in the past month

          • @Whisper Quiet: I too had no luck with the code after signing up to Club Catch. Definitely targeted.

  • +1

Liquorland? No way, how many times they didn't honor the offers??

  • +1

Still awaiting for the 15% Liquorland CB from the previous deal… :/
Not doing it again, just not worth it

  • Can this be used with this deal?

  • -1

  • I need BWS including champagne lol

    • This one doesn't say excluding champagne or penfolds. What do BWS sell LL don't?

      • +1

BWS however has really good champagne on clearance at different stores throughout Australia

some of the clearance prices on champagne I noticed in New South Wales were crazy, and champagne is rarely discounted

  • -1

Why not if you have some purchases in mind.

Because you gave all of our details to criminals?

  • Does catch include marketplace?

  • Hi, Thanks for posting this deal. Good timing as I was about to order some wine. :)

  • Token downvote for the Shopback Shonks. Untrustworthy.

  • Is anyone else getting less than 10% on the Catch catchback? I bought Super smash bros Ultimate for $69, but this only got tracked at $5.04

    • Possibly only get cashback on the price of the item minus GST. I have seen that before on a couple of the T&C's. Haven't looked into this one but amount seems close to checking out.

    • +1

That's not right. You should get $6.27

    • Same with Amazon and few other stores. Take off GST and that's the cashback. Yours does seem lower than that anyway though

    • thanks for the replies. raised to SB and they manually topped up.

  • The Iconic and Shopback continue to have a lot of failed tracking based off previous deals on here, and no rep has ever commented on it.

As recent as just last week

    Other examples - 1 & 2

    • Yeah, last week mine didn't track and it was through their app

    • happened to me twice now as well, and i have everything else tracking just fine via SB.

  • My tracking didn't track shop back and shopback rejected it

2 times in a row with The iconic

Funny how everything else tracks, well I'll be returning these islands just like the others and it must cost them a lot of money and postage
