Battery does in fact seem to last almost forever. Its like there's magic contained within..

    • +3

and even if it does run out a few taps will get it working again like a TV remote.

  • i've got the regular large version of the MX Master 2S, lasts me about a month on average. I sit at the computer for about 4-5 hours a day. It's amazing

    • Same but wish it's USB C plug… just annoying habing two cables lying around

      • +1

        MX Master 3 is USB-C, albeit at a premium…

      • +1

Price probably dropped becaues of the release of the new version: mx anywhere 3. That has type-c

Great mouse. I'd been using it for the last year as my main mouse, but picked up the new version (MX Anywhere 3) which was released a few weeks ago and has the same magnetic scroll wheel as the MX Master 3 which I prefer. There's not a huge difference between the two mouses; connectivity is better in my opinion, and left/right wheel tilt is gone (wheel click is back). Can't go wrong with either.

    • +2

Yeah, waiting on a deal for the Anywhere 3 for the wheel click! (Much prefer wheel click to tilt!)

  • +1

it was $49 a few weeks ago on Amazon Prime day sale.

    • +4

That was for the older MX 2 (not 2S)

      • +1

I got the Anywhere 2S about 3 years ago, $49 from TGG. I'm sure its been even cheaper since.

        • +2

The pandemic and the wave of work from home has seen the price hover up around the RRP. It was regularly discounted before this. I have been looking for a bargain on this for months as my old mx 2 is slowly dying

        • Pre covid yes, post covid I've not seen and been after one.

        • I remember this deal. Bought 3 at the time.

  • 4% cashback from cashrewards

There is no cashback on the computing category from either provider.

    • sorry looked at electronics…not computing

Does it connect with apple MacBook ?

    • yep!

  • how does this mouse switch between computers ? Where is the button located ( hopefully not underneath )

    • +3

Switching button is underneath and separated by channel https://www.logitech.com/en-au/manuals/11892#section23

    • It is underneath, but the mouse is small and light you can switch it all with one hand (pressing button with thumb). Or you can get logitech flow and use the same keyboard and mouse for multiple computers.

    • It also comes with software to automatically switch between computers. It is quiet good as you can copy from one PC and paste on another. (Even mac -> PC)

  • "What else do you need ?" I need a free cardboard box.

Nah, what I really need is enough money to never need to work again. :)

    • +1

      You need FIRE

  • +2

JFYI Its approx $10 more than the cheapest its been, also MX Anywhere 3 has been released recently. Just saying .. but this is still a great mouse if anyone needs it.

    • Why?!? Guess I'll wait for anywhere 3 to come down in price now….

  • What else do I need? I need better ergonomics of MX Vertical.

  • I got 2 of these, didn't even realise they got bluetooth until now.

    • So you used it wired to usb port?

      • Doh, so it does comes with receiver

    • Yes the fact it has both is great. Dongle stays with the PC, Bluetooth for laptop.

  • bought it $62 3 years ago as far as I can remember, recharge it only 3 times. Still going strong

  • I'm always tempted when I see these on sale, but can't believe that the scroll wheel doesn't have a middle click built-in. You have to use the square button behind it

    • +1

      Anywhere 3 has middle click.

    • the square button behind the wheel is click and new window button
the wheel click just makes it friction less scrolling
the mouse does everything i need it to do
      very happy with it

I prefer the M590 Silent mouse. Connects up to two devices using Bluetooth and/or unifying receiver. Long battery life and pretty silent. Cheaper too.

  • I've had the VX nano version for about 10 years and has still been going strong. Looks very similar in terms of style and function.

  • +1

it looks like mx 3 cancel the right left click of the middle wheel, if anyone like that have to go mx 2

  • lol.. i never knew it can pair this mouse directly without a dongle.. had always used the unifi dongle with keyboard to connect the mouse.. meh.. now i need a keyboard that doens't need a dongle..

    • Uses Bluetooth. I have one and it's great with the pairing to three devices and it's small enough to carry easily. I personally do use the dongle for one of the three slots though just so I can easily move it between different laptops I trial, and keep the other two Bluetooth profiles for my iPad and my Chromebook Duet.

  • I'm a fan of this and have one myself but I'd caveat this deal given it's been $58 many times in the past (even at Amazon AU) so there's a potential for it to be that price or lower again in the future.

    • i bought one two years ago for $58 also but am not convinced that price is coming back unless this model will get replaced.

      • Maybe.. but looking at the history of deals on OzBargain, it's hovered at $58 a few times (even earlier this year), and with eBay coupons, it's been in the $50-$55 range too. I wouldn't assume just because noone posted a deal that it wasn't available cheaper but given there are eBay Plus deals not too infrequently, I wouldn't be surprised if it dropped down into the sub $60 price bracket if one was willing to wait. That being said, if in a rush, even at $69, it's a decent price for a good mouse.

      • It has been replaced.

      • you gotta admit it's pretty funny how this panned out. We learnt there's a new model (I don't follow mice that closely) and then it also went back to that price.

  • Showing $59 delivered now

    Dropped another $10 bucks!
