Just when you thought it couldn't get any better, Tribe of Judah comes through with the goods. Everyone gets a hand sanitizer stocking filler this year - everyone gets to marinate their hands in this pungent germ-free goo.

They also have some other great deals on at the moment (4 red velvet oreo cookie packs for $2) so support local and support this business doing great things for families. Anyone slagging off Logan in this post obviously has some insecurities of their own they may want to reflect on and deal with.

      The previous deal of $3 a bottle attracted a lot of comments that would be very discouraging to some of the readers. Logan is a great area, affordable for families and lots of diversity. There are areas of social and economic disadvantage and Tribe of Judah is one of the many community organisations here working hard to help make positive change. It would be great if we could commend them and others for their efforts.

        When I parked 100 metres away from the shop next to the park - I felt a bit of nostalgia there.. Those years back home in Russia… unpaved dirty parking area… water ponds…. suspicious cars and unfriendly walkers… but it makes you be more aware of the things and give a bit of different feel of Australia.

          So you're judging 958 km2 of city based on where you parked at a one shop that the overwhelming majority of Logan residents would have never heard of, let alone have the need to shop at?

        I'm not one criticising the deal itself, but man c'mon let's be real, some part of Logan are just plain rough and awful to be in. I lived in Logan, I can speak to how scummy just some parts are. Not just the environment but the people in it as well.

      Logan is a massive city. It has bad areas, average areas and it has very affluent areas. It's no different to any other city.

      The Real Estate in some suburbs are absolutely booming at the moment. Now that Rochdale has become insanely overpriced, people are heading slight further south.

    Scotts seems to have swung from a very chemical smell to a highly fragranced sanitiser where it would stay with you for hours.

      Logan is a hole, but it doesn't make this a bad deal. Realistically, I'm not going to drive all the way to buy some hand sanitiser, but the people who live close enough to bother probably already live in these "bad" suburbs. I don't espcially like the TOJ's religion, but at least they're doing good for the community.

      I grew up in Logan, my Dad was a local politician in Logan… it's not so bad actually! Much better than places I've lived overseas :) I think you've not really seen all of Logan.

    I've been keeping Tribe of Judah a secret from Ozbargain for years.

    Call me selfish… but that places does 5c gourmet yoghurts, cheapest prime meats, 20c ice-creams and chocolate bar and best of all… ALWAYS a selection of incredible international cheeses.

    When I was in AUS, this place was walking distance from my house.
