For anyone interested, 85dB is the same sound level as city traffic (inside car).

    • Does it mean not loud enough for daily use?

They're fine, just stops them from cranking the volume up.

Had a pair but the wire broke, still not really sure how it was done by a two year old but I suspect the cat helped.

  • Not sure about the safety of cords near children's heads/necks. That includes audio cables. I will get the wireless version of these ones personally - for my son.

    • lol thats absurd. i agree with the preference for wireless because it's 2020, but headphones have been corded for as long as they have been around.

      • So were curtain cords and now legally they all need to be attached to the wall for the same safety reason.
But that may be absurd to you too - who cares. I'm talking about my decisions and my son, you can take yours.

Edit: it's also the same reason why many modern toys that need to have a cord somewhere, have a very short one. It's short enough that you can't do a full loop around a child's neck. Google "fisher price xylophone" to see an example.

        • Curtain cords are attached and fixed in place. Headphone cables are not.

Headphone cables stretch somewhat. Curtain cords do not.

Headphone cables have less tolerance when pulled. They will snap. Curtain cords will not.

  • These are great. They rated high in not having noise spikes over 85db. My kids have them in the car to use with headrest TVs, they can hear well and find them comfortable.

  • What age group are these for? Daughter is 8yrs don't want to buy and find they are tight or not get much use out of them

    • Daughter is 7. They fit well and she likes them. They also fit (somewhat) on my melon.

      • Thanks lol

  • Does these have a Spiderman sticker on them?
