Gigabyte P750GM 750W 80+ Gold Fully Modular Power Supply $129 + Delivery @ Shopping Express

1450

Gigabyte aren't known for PSUs but this is a very good price for a 750W 80+ gold modular power supply.

Cheapest on static ice is $147.

A good deal for to go with your new Ryzen 5000 series builds.

The actual manufacturer, OEM, is relatively new to making PSUs. They are known as MEIC and usually just make power adapters.

Good first post after 11 years of joining. Everyone has to start right?

Deserves a + just for this!

        a + for first post

  • This is a good deal. I got a Cooler Master 750W Gold Fully Modular + Delivery for my RTX 3080 build last week from MWave for $149 AUD. I also didn't know Gigabyte make power supply.

Your PSU is made by Chicony Electronics. They have been doing it for a while vs MEIC, who don't have a reputation.

    • I bought the same cooler master PSU back in early September only to find out was DOA afternoon so much troubleshooting with other components 😅

      • @Claudio: I hope mine won't then. I am keeping all the receipt atm.

Because it's nearly impossible to get a RTX3080 this year, I won't be building my new rig till next year.

When they feel more pressure from AMD, hopefully more stock will be release. Cuz everyone is going for the TUF atm due to the capacitor setup issue.

  • reviews are concerning….

Then that's a concern since all techfast 3080 systems run this

      • well as long as they weeded out the doa's you're in with a chance… 12 hours burn in etc…

        not for me.

    Any reviews? Superb price

    • quite a few DOA reports on Newegg for this model.

      • 50% odd …

      • If we receive a DOA what is the process to return it? Do we have to pay postage?

        • You must be new here not knowing accc

o.O this is your first post???

    Thanks for posting =)

It's a good price, but given MEIC is quite obscure and lots of DOA, I would consider investing in an OEM model made by reputable PSU maker like Seasonic. A PSU, should last many generations so upgrades are likely to be infrequent, investing in a good quality PSU is not a bad investment.

If you need slightly less power at 650w, NZXT C650 is a better option at $139 and 10 year warranty. As per reviews, it's based on highly rated Seasonic Focus Gold series and excellent value for money at this price.

  • Bought evga gold semi modular 600w from centercom last month for the same price.

Also consider the Enermax Revolution d.f. Tier A according to the goto tier list. Only a 5 year warranty though if that's a concern.

  • Seasonic or be quiet…. I’d never touch a gigabyte psu again.

    • Well Seasonic make their own PSUs, Be Quiet, like Corsair don't. Be Queit PSUs made by FSP, Seasonic or HEC are good.

Never cheap out on a PSU

    • amen

  • What's MIEC??

I only buy Seasonic and Corsair.

I believe Seasonic also makes ASUS power supplies, so I'll add them to my list.
