I have one of this. Really good and reliable psu 👍

  • Just got one myself the other day from JW for $230 including delivery so a great price.

Cables look a lot better in person too

  • Black costs more?

    • Yeah not really a deal for the black one, just added for completeness

SEs prices for 3080s are a joke. Only reason they have stock.

Stuff that! People like you are the ones that normalize these prices. With current exchange rate Gigabyte Eagle OC costs $1270 USD on the shoppingexpress.com.au. Thats $570 USD more than 3080FE and $540 above the price of this card in the USA. If you add %10GST, %10 imports and transportation, with that it comes up to $876 USD or $1206 AUD. They are selling this card for north of $1700!. How the hell is this justified? Whats the difference between these prices and the jacked up 2080TI prices then? Where is the promised affordable mid to high range GPUs?
Stop supporting these stupid prices ffs.

          • @ln28909: Dude, I think you and I live on different planets. Best of luck.

          • @ln28909: And yet I can get a EVGA RTX 3080 FTW3 Ultra for $1259 [other EVGA cards even cheaper] & yes I know there is a wait, but for an extra $500, F*** that… I could potentially grab anything from a GTX 1060 - RX580 - up to a GTX 1080 Ti / RX5700 XT, game on the relevant resolution & just flip it at break even or small loss when the EVGA card comes in.

@TilacVIP: I only buy from the Strix or Aorus line cause they look better, so I wouldn't compare it with the EVGA cards. And yeah, I'm not saying you shouldn't do what you do, I'm just saying I'm more than happy to pay that premium

              • @ln28909: ……But you have a 2080?

                • @mordinhoz: Yes, someone was selling a 2080 super with waterblock for dirt cheap so I bought it, my main use is CS GO so a gpu like a 3080 is overkill for my need, though I would have bought it to future proof if I didn't find the 2080 super

                  • @ln28909: You can play CS GO on a rx580. But you bought a second hand 2080S, a high end card of last gen, for cheap and are claiming you'd pay a premium for a new 3080? Doesn't make sense lol. You don't like to pay a premium.

                    • @mordinhoz: I also bought a 3950x and don't know what I should do with it yet, though that's true I've pretty much never pay a premium for performance, most of the time just aesthetics, like I paid $229 for the white version of this when I could gotten the black one for $30 less at the time

                      • @ln28909: Still the yeezys and buy the 3080 from shopping express

                        • @mordinhoz: Honestly might pull the trigger when the 3080 aorus wb gets released, looks dope as

                          • @ln28909: Buy it second hand in a year

                            • @mordinhoz: Probably lol, next up on my buy list is the lian li streamer cables and they're just absurdly expensive atm

    • Fingers crossed it doesn't happen to amd's cards.

Who am I kidding.. if it's a GPU after the bitcoin craze, +30% to the price minimum

    LOL RTX 3080 prices 😂

Thanks OP for the PSU, have been tracking it on camelx3 for a while in prep for a RTX3080. Hard pass on getting the 3080 from SE though, I'm happy to wait

  • This or the EVGA Supernova 850 GA?

    • This is the only white PSU in my price range, so that's why I chose it

      • Besides the colour, what are the differences and which one is better?
I see that the Supernova is also $219 on SE and they both use japanese capacitors.

        • The rmx series is widely regarded as one of the best PSUs you can buy.

  • The white cables are porn.. If you're into that sort of thing. They're well over a hundred bucks if purchased separately.

    • The cables in the white edition are the same as the black edition but are obviously white. When they released the PSU initially they were sleeved but that was for a short time.

  • Showing 229 and 239 here.

    Also black is 2018 model

  • RTX 3080 prices are ridiculous.
Wonder if prices will drop after RX6800 XT released
