I was wondering that myself. I imagine there would some very disappointed kid on Xmas morning trying to make it transform and then being a little sad when it does not suddenly become a killer robot. i'd hope it would be a direct drive thus answering both your questions… good point though as we live near the top of a steep hill… :O
if its a direct drive, the pedals would be spinning crazy when going down a hill, quite dangerous
i don't think so, your legs would be resisting the pedals and therefore slowing it down…

Imma open up a paypal dispute, this is silly.
My tracking says it was in Sydney on the 2nd for "Lodgement". It shouldn't be taking nearly 3 weeks to get to VIC.
I would definitely open a paypal dispute, sounds as if aus. post has lost it. Are you able to contact Aus. post at all? I bought something off ebay the other week, and after a number of phone calls to toll couriers they admitted it was lost and I was sent another one from the seller. I received my go-kart about 3 weeks ago. Very poor form that you are still waiting.
