Jumped on the earlier deal, but luckily it hadn't shipped yet and saw this change. Hope this helps others in the same boat :)

Great review from a fellow Aussie: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0YOL4g5YiEw

For those confused about the price, it's a kit that comes with a 80 Plus Gold 650W SFX PSU and a 140mm AIO CPU cooler. Pretty great value for small form factor.

For those worried about the 650W PSU not being enough for RTX 3000 / RX 6000: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bdohv96uGLw

Think this is the cheapest it has been, nice

    • I wonder if a revised model will come out, a lot of the RTX 30xx series cards just don't fit in it.

  • +9

Why is this case so expensive? Serious question

    • +28

includes power supply and an AIO cpu cooler

      • And supposedly lets you setup a really really good case airflow built O_O

        • O . O

        • +14

The airflow in this case is far from good

        • it's popular cause it looks nice

      • Cheers, mate.

    • +1

      Just edited the description :)

It's a kit that comes with PSU and an AIO cooler.

    • +2

Should see some of the niche sffpc case cost for just a case.

The price we pay for going smol

    • actually it is reasonable price as it has power supply and aio cooler.

      • Yeah, but not when you already have both :P

        • put them on gumtree

  • +2

    Did you cancel previous order?

    • +2

Yep, thanks for the reminder though :)

      • I did the same thing, thank you for finding it cheaper. But what worries me is the delivery time. I made my last order on 7th but they still haven’t shipped it yet. I wonder how long will take them to ship from UK to here.

        • how long did it take for the order to cancel?

          • +1

@arghhhhhh: Took me 3 clicks, Amazon is pretty great with cancels if it hasn't shipped.

        • FREE delivery: 4 - 22 Dec
          Fastest delivery: 1 - 16 Dec

          Not looking too great :(

  • +6

I set this up next to the xbox right? :P

  • +2

Sadly, the riser card is not PCIe 4.

  • Thanks OP you made my day!

    Cancelled previous order and reordered.

  • +1

Let's see a console look like this

    • This looks just like the new Nintendo Wii 3 actually

    • But can it do this?

      *insert sideways xboxxx

  • +2

650W PSU is on the lower end for 3080/6800XT right? Wouldn't you want at least 750W-850W (depending on the CPU too)? I have a 5900X on order and I don't think the 650W PSU would handle that and a 6800XT…

    • +1

You might be able to get away with it because it's gold rated, but temps would be precarious

    • +5

It should be okay. Give this a watch, works with an overclocked 10900K and 3080.

      • +2

Thanks man. Usually watch Optimum's vids but I must have missed that one. Have a good one

    • +1

      You'll live. Probably.

  • Anyone happen to know how warranty works for an international model?

    • If anything goes wrong, you have to ship it back to them to fix.

  • Damn that's a good deal! I just purchased the CoolerMaster NR200, but was eyeing this one off. Unfortunately the PSU is a little on the low end for my intended system.

    • Thoughts on the NR200? Tossing up between that and spending almost 3x that on the NCase M1.

What's your setup for the NR200?

      • No idea, don't have it yet :P Did a lot of research beforehand though, and the price can't be beaten for what you get.

This will be my intended setup in it, once everything is back in stock/arrives/black friday deals are done.

      • You won't regret the ncase. I can't speak for NR200 tho.

  • +5

When you're upset over missing out on an XBSX so you build your own.

    • Not much change left over for the silicon though

  • +1

Not a gamer. Was so tempted until i saw the new Mac Mini

    • +13

      The iPad without a screen?

There was also the iPad with a keyboard & no touchscreen

And then the iPad with a touch bar and a fan

      • This made me chuckle

      • Or a lunch box can be attached to a screen
        :p

  • Thanks OP, managed to cancel and reorder.

I do think it will take some time to arrive but worth it savings.

  • +2

thank you OP. great find. cancelled previous amazon order and reordered. the delivery date has been pushed back though. still, worth the price difference. this is the cheapest ever

  • +5

don't forget to add a few noctua a4x20 pwm fans for better airflow and quieter system.

    https://www.reddit.com/r/NZXT/comments/gdkmnh/neat_nzxt_h1_m…

    • wow cool. But noctua a4x20 is pricy, I will wait for a good deal.

  • this is an awesome price, I paid 650 about 4 months ago.
Paired with the right GPU its very silent. Unfortunately I had a 5700XT reference design from before and it is quite loud in this case.
I am looking at doing the above mentioned noctua case fan mod addition

  • Can someone explain why it's good to have pcie4?

    • It's not important. Minuscule differences.

    • +3

It is faster, simple as that. But the only thing that really benefits will be extremely fast PCIe SSDs, see here. With GPUs, the difference is pretty much imperceptible, see here.

Also worth noting that the limiting factor in the case is the riser card, essentially an extension cord for the PCIe interface, you can purchase a 4.0 riser if it really bothers you.

      • Ah right makes sense!

So most modern motherboards would natively support pcie4 but it's the riser cable that's the issue. Correct me if I'm wrong.

        • Yes, and make sure you can disable pcie4 on your motherboard and switch to pcie3. Not all motherboards allow that.

      • There are not many riser cards for PCIe 4.0, and the one that is available is around 140 AUD (including shipping).

    • More futureproof.

  • Total noob when it comes to building a PC … any recommendations on what components to pair with this? Looking for a entry - mid level gaming rig with some general / office productivity. Total budget (incl case) $1200?

    • +5

May be you are spending way too much for a case for a budget of $1200.

      • I meant to type $1500 .. though that may still be too low

        • +3

If you like small form factor, maybe have a look at the NR200 or NR200P if you like glass. Great value.

        • +1

You could probably get away with it:

          H1 Case: $500
          B450 itx (Gigabyte Aorus?): $190
          Ryzen 3600: $320
          Ballistix CL16 3600 2x8GB: $120
          Kingston A2000 1TB: $150

Leaves you ~570 for the GPU which will get you a 5700XT or possibly a 2070S if you're lucky enough to get it on sale.

          • +1

@Autonomic: With that list he has $220 left for a GPU not $570…

Get an i5 10400f and a budget b460 itx board, and lower RAM speed to 3000 (max supported by b460) to save another $20-30. This will save about $150.

            • @Kingduytan: My mistake - late night addition. Maybe swap to a budget 500GB SSD instead to save some more cash. Should be able to squeeze in a 5700XT.

  • How many SSD and HDD can you fit into the case. Im a big fan of NZXT and thinking about my next build.

    • +1

      2 2.5 inch, 0 3.5 inch

Most people doing small builds use M2 / Nvme disks.

    • Two 2.5' SSD(SATA)/HDD, and you can put one or two m.2 SSD into your motherboard, depending on how many it support(normally 1 or 2 for itx MB). I think that is enough.

  • -2

Better value to get an XSX

  • Add another $250 and you can get a Xbox Series X.

    • +6

Add another $250 and you can get a decent fridge.

  • +1

so sad this doesnt include the white version

  • this or coolermaster nr200p

    • +1

NR200P has better airflow and is easier to build in, but takes up more space on your desk. It's also cheaper.
      Up to you.

  • Thanks OP have had my eye on this case.

  • any suggestions for the best GPU for this case for 1440p gaming ( high to ultra details)?

    • RTX 3070?

I put a gigabyte 3070 gaming oc in it, it runs great.

But I found a asus 3080 tuf oc on facebook for a not bad price and then changed to it.

      • are you still running the stock psu?

  • -1

How do you pre-order this xbox X series X, it's cheaper then the real series X with no internals nice.

  • where are the bright color - black is not showy enough

    • NZXT have conservative designs.

  • DUDES, Would a 650W be enough for 3000 series cards??? I'd want a nice Seasonic in a nice case like this.

    • +2

The 650W PSU included with the H1 is made by Seasonic, and it's 80+ Gold certified.

      • NOISE! I like. I am rocking a simple fanless seasonic for the last 6 years. Love silent computing.

        • Having moved from a pc to laptop, I kinda miss the gentle hum my raven case made.

  • Wondering if there is an updated version with more power for rtx3000 cards soon and this could get even cheaper.

      SFF650W can handle 3080 with i9 10900k very well.

      • From a marketing perspective, it isnt good when the reccomended power is higher than what you are offering, whether it works or not. They'll likely be making it slightly bigger to accommodate all rtx3000 cards too.

  • Has anyone here benchmarked to check temps for GPU and CPU?

  • 1-2 months delivery damn…

    • Yeah expected that. I had ordered via CPLOnline on Oct 7th with ETA on Nov 8th. Then I got to know after the ETA had passed that ETA pushed to Dec 8th.cancelled order

  • +2

    Delivery just got updated: Arriving 23 Nov. 2020 - 26 Jan. 2021

My entire summer break now counts on Amazon and Aus Post Global.

  • INSTALLATION ISSUE

Hey guys, just helped a mate with getting his new build going. Thought of this thread so when you guys get it and plan on running B550/X570 w/ RTX3000, beware:

ASUS Strix B550i Motherboard + 5600X, freshly updated BIOS
NZXT H1 w/ standard PCIe Gen 3 Riser Cable
    RTX3070 Vision card

Motherboard won't boot - debug light displays GPU error.

Had to install an RTX2000 series card (or older will do, anything that does NOT support PCIe 4)
Then booted, got into BIOS, set PCIE manually to Gen 3.
Save, reboot, power off, reinstall RTX3000 card. Works (but can't reset/update BIOS, so no messing about with overclocking for him).

They really need to provide a PCIE4.0 riser cable.

  • +1

For ~$35 more, the white version is in stock with a much better delivery date. https://www.amazon.com.au/gp/product/B084Y1Z58L?pf_rd_r=HJMX…

  • +2

So I woke up this morning and found my order had been canceled *sad face…

    • Thought it might happen when the delivery date was so far away.

    • Same here. didn't even get an email from them…

    • seems to have been a price error

    • +1

Same here. Wasted money for prime for one month.

    • "There is a manufacturing issue with this item, that is the reason all orders for these items are cancelled.
And customer is only notified via email that its cancelled.
But the actual reason is the item recall."

      SOOOOOOO SAD
I bought new RAM, motherboard and waiting for this a long time.

      • Same here. I bought new rams as my vengeance rgb is too high for h1. Manufacturing issue my ass. 3080 fit to h1 and it becomes very popular so there is no reason to sell h1 at this price and that is why they cancelled the orders.
