    You call it a st paddy’s costume, despite clearly being Scottish.

      Playing devils advocate - the Irish also wore kilts. But I doubt you'll see too many wearing them on St. Paddy's day..

  • You should also know that the bagpipes as we know them came from Ireland,not Scotland.
    P.S.What Tartan is that? No such thing as a generic Tartan btw.

    Trivial Pursuit: St Patrick of Ireland was a Scotman and St Andrew of Scotland was an irish.

  • I did say "the bagpipes as we know them".It's arguable,but my 20c. is that it could be originally from India as modified goat skins.YMMV.
