pro tip: for those who need Nitto fittings, do yourself a favor and only buy the genuine Nitto made in Japan. The Taiwanese/Chinese copies are shit, leak air, tend to come flying off and can be surprisingly expensive when compared to the genuine Nitto stuff.

    • Where do you buy originals from??

      • +1

        Supercheap has genuine Nitto fittings.

Hydraulic hose stores should stock them as well. As would places like Blackwood.

        • Thanks for that - I'll just get them from SC. Cheers!

  • Interesting sounding device, does it operate similar to an air hammer/chisel?

    • Not quite, there is no repeat hammering. It is a single punch action. The protruding part of the nail goes inside the barrel, and the piston punches it out (with quite a bit of force, so you need to wear glasses as nails can fly around).

  • would this allow pushing down nail heads on flooring timber to enable easy floor sanding?

  • Any recommendations for a small air pump to go with this?

Just for garage house, bike/ garage workshop stuff

  • Just what the wife needs for a Xmas present……. ;)

  • looks handy but coming up as $92 for unit or $97 with extra piston.
handy even for thicker timber and finish with claw hammer ….hate having to straighten nails to extract.

  • I can recommend this 100%.

Has saved me hours and hours of time over the years de-nailing.

Be sure to purchase an extra punch should you be planning on doing a lot of work with this.

At the time of purchasing mine I had to import from the US because there were no stockists here.

    Definitely grabbing another.

    Thanks OP.

  • I'm seeing it at $92 now :-/
