  Im looking at getting this just to blur my background. I am currently using Cyberlink Perfect cam, but it lacks a lot of features to control things like brightness, white balance, contrast, etc.

  Would this work ok just for that, or are there other better solutions around?

  Also, it says lifetime subscription, do i need to be online for this to always work? Or is it just a common license key?

  EDIT: downloaded it in trial mode. Yes, you need to login for the watermark to disappear, so must be online. Works good for removing the background, but kind of the same performance than Cyberlink PerfectCam. You do get access to MORE customisation of the video and even the background, but i wouldn't pay more than $10 for this atm.

    The login isn’t too bad but occasionally would require me to login again on my work PC. Unfortunately it also sometimes seemed temperamental with getting the login page to display on work VPN. At least they removed the funky loading splash screen.

  I’ve been using this for a while (for work) and it was great but now that all the major players (or at least the ones I use- Google meet, Microsoft teams and Zoom) have a native blurring feature built in, this isn’t really necessary. That being said it worked well whilst it lasted and I previously bought the lifetime subscription which only occasionally required me to login again to remove the watermark. I’m also glad the developers removed the splash screen during loading as that always freaked my clients out.
