    • +8

Soundpeats is considered a decent budget brand. Check out Picky Audio for some reviews.

I've tried the Trueair and currently using the Trueair2 - both are quite good.

  • +3

I had the SoundPEATS Truengine SE original and they performed well above their pay-grade. I recently lost one of the buds and getting the Truengine 3 SE to replace them was an easy decision. Thanks OP

    • +1

I am sorry, dear friend, I can't understand you very well, could you please tell me more clear about your confusion?

      • +6

oz = ounces. We use grams (metric system).

        • +9

thanks, i will pay attention in the future

        • +9

so i am on ounce-bargain ??? weird name for this website :P

  • Are these even a reliable brand? I have to admit, I've never heard of them before

    • +2

They are considered one of the better budget brands. This youtube channel has some reviews.

  • Any deal on H1?

    • This model has not been officially launched on Amazon, and it is still in the crowdfunding stage. I am sorry

  • I've been a big fan of some of the QCY's for a number of years, but in July I "splashed out" and got a set of the Fiil T1X.

Been very, very happy. Audio quality, battery life and connection quality have all been brill. I paid $55USD delivered. Just a big thumbs up for the Fiil T1X. Scabir says they have better audio quality than the Samsung buds. Hope this helps someone!

    • But for Fiil T1 pro or T1X? I saw some people have problem with the left earbud after a short period.

      • Just the T1X. The T1XS looks great too. No problems with left bud yet. 😯

    • I've got a Fiil CC. Absolutely love them and was persuaded by scarbir too

    • same here. sound quality is good and so is battery life. I sometimes struggle with the charging case as the earbuds don't seem to charge even with the red lights on.

  • Hi OP, out of trueaiir 2 and turpentine 3 we, apart from the shape, which one is better in terms oif performance?

    • trueair2

      • So trueair 2 is better than truengine 3 se?

        • Which style were you after? In-ears or earbuds? That should help with the decision.

          • @ShortyX: The one that would be comfortable and not drop off easily.

            • @BinnyC: then both are good. And I should tell you that the trueair2 maybe good at call because they have 2 mics in each earbud and also it is smaller than the 3 SE and very easy to carry

      • Hi OP also which one of those are better for voice calls? I am using truefree+ now and the voice from its mic doesn't feel loud enough…

        • trueair2 for they have 2 mics in each earbud, please don't worry

          • @spcoker: But Truengine 3 SE also has 2 mics in each earbud right? How is its voice call quality compared to Trueair 2? (since I prefer in-ears a bit more, but mainly use earbuds for calling)

            • @toastie921: for calling, you should choose the trueair2, this is better

              • @spcoker: Hi OP. Is there any major differences between Trueair (the white version) and Trureair2? Will use it for conf call most of the times

  • Also, true air2 is only 10% discount when all others are 15% discounted?

    • I am sorry, because there is not any stocks of this item now, so the discount is not very big

      • +1

I bought it last Thursday during the flash sale. Was only about $36

        • I guess will wait for another sale to as it is almost 20% more even on sale.

      • The code on SoundPEATS TrueFree2 Bluetooth 5.0 True Wireless Earbuds doesn't work anymore? Would it be possible to get another? Thank you

    • +1

hello, yesterday we arrived some again and now I create a 15% code, you can have a look

  • Anyone has any experience (having owned both) between the SoundPEATS TrueEngine / TrueShifts and the Taotronics BH-094 and BH-079s?

    Thanks.

    • +2

I bought the BH079s a couple of weeks ago and was disappointed by the unstable bluetooth and noise cancellation on the microphone that left me sounding garbled when i was trying to use them for Teams calls, so they went back. Maybe I got a dud pair, but I've since bought Trueair2s. It's still early days as I've only had them since last Friday and so far so good.
The Trueair2 was $37.59 on sale a week ago.
That said, i like my other TT products, so might still get the BH094s for ANC, fully in ear firm factor and listening to music if the price is good for Black Friday.

  • Hi OP, do you know which one has better sound, true air 2 or H1?

    • This fellow has reviewed a few inc those two, looks like clearly H1
      https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y7an0kWe-CY

Though in some ways a choice between in ear (H1) and semi in ear

    • dear friend, trueair2 is also very good, and the H1 is has not been officially launched on Amazon, and it is still in the crowdfunding stage. I am sorry I can't tell you which one is better now for I don't have a sample of H1 as so far.

  • what's the best sound quality ones listed ?

    • for the sound quality, I can promise that all of our models are good enough

  • True Engines are great. I bought two pairs a few months ago for me and my partner. We use them 5 times a week for gym and the sound is amazing.

    • Does it sit proper gap-free in your ear throughout the workout? I find some earphones start slipping out when wet or cant make proper gap-free fit in your ear

      • which model? are these are our SoundPEATS earbuds?

      • it didn't for me, went for a True Engine 2 instead (cause they gave a 60% discount code if you write a review for them), SOOOOOO much better, I use them all the time now. Stays in the ears in my jogs, don't gym so can't comment on that but they're pretty secure for me.

        • If you have a spare discount code you haven't used, I would gladly (oz)bargain it from you for $

        • Thanks - I bought the Trueshift 2, if it doesn;t work I'll give something else a try

      • They come with memory foam ear tips which are completely gap-free. They don't slip at all.

  • +3

Ozbargain recently led me to the true engine 3 se and I have 0 regrets, all things considered they're phenomenal for the price, and 15% off again makes them very easy to recommend

    • +3

Yep if ANYONE is unsure what to get out of all of the range get TRUE ENGINE 3, it's absolutely the best of the range and not expensive.

      • It was for $48 in Oct though.

  • Hi OP, I think you mentioned in a previous deal that some of these models can connect in a sort of dual mono mode, where each earbud is connected to a separate source in mono only, but simultaneously.

The only one I can see which I think supports this is the Truefree+. Could you confirm if this is correct, and if any others can do it?

Basically I just want to connect one to my phone and one to my laptop, at the same time.

    • now all the true wireless earbuds can use seperately and you can connect one with your one device and connect another device with another earbuds, please don't worry.
But you can't connect them with 2 devices at the same time when you use both earbuds, please note

      • That doesn't seem entirely clear.

So if I buy the Truebuds for example, can I connect one of the buds to my phone (in mono) and the other bud to my laptop (in mono) at the same time?

  • I got some edifier TWS200. How do these compare? I want something in this shape, but better mic for talking. What's the best one of these?

    • for the mic, I recommend trueair2 model

  • Does the SoundPEATS Truengine 3 SE Wireless Earbuds with Dual Dynamic Drivers come with aptx low latency?

    • +1

Aptx is on the box and I'd have to agree after months of use.

      • Thanks yeah I saw that but didn't know of aptx HD, aptx low latency etc were the same thing. Do you use it for watching tv or gaming?

        • Thinking of buying a aptx Bluetooth transmitter from the tv for it as well.

        • +2

Both, might be more noticeable for gaming, but for video the delay is so little you don't notice. The only delay I notice is playing and starting a video, the tiny delay between click and actual sound, but during play nothing noticed.

Gaming is pretty much its own category for many things, many things good for viewing is unacceptable for rapid online play.

    • yes, Dual Dynamic Drivers come with aptx low latency, please don't worry

  • +3

    True engine 3

    that is all.

    • +1

      Thank you

      that is all.

  • Have to say, do not expect great customer service from SoundPeats.

    • hi, dear friend
May I know have you met something wrong? I was responsible for our amazon.au marketplace, if our after customer service doesn't satisfy you, you can tell me here and I will help you then.

  • Hi why buy these over the trueshift 2 ear buds.?they have much better battery life and a whopping 100 hr case vs 30 hr of this one.
And the trueshift are ipx7 vs ipx6?

Is the main reason because of aptx or am i missing something? They are cheaper aswell and both have 15% off.

  • Bought TrueAir2 last week and gotta say that they are really good wrt voice calls. Impressed!

    • +1

thanks for support, dear friend, please be noted that our SoundPEATS provides 12 months hassle-free warranty for every product. Your satisfaction is always greatly important to us.

  • Does any of them have active noise cancellation (for the speakers)?

    • no active noise cancellation now, but the trueair2 is very good for calls, you can have a try

  • was looking at these literally last night but no stock of SE3
    good timing :D

    • yesm this model just arrived yesterday

  • +2

I'll say this once again. Great bang for buck earphones, but do not trust a word this person says, especially if they pm you and provide you with an "offer".

    • Please expand… Service will be important, spesh since a fair proportion report QC issues with true engine 3 (buds giving off high pitched sounds or having connection issues).

      • I missed out on a deal some time ago and received a message from the OP mentioning that if I purchase a pair and leave a review on Amazon, they'll reimburse me.

I received them and thought they were great. Using them daily when working out, till now. Left a good review and contacted OP. What do you know, they ignored my messages.

        • where you contact us? From the amazon or the mail? We value each customer’s letter. There may be too much information and accidentally ignored yours. Could you please contact us again?

        • Buying reviews on Amazon is against their TOS, they played you and got away with it

  • +1

The true engine sound ok for the price as far as music goes. It's been trouble free for over a year now iirc.

But do keep in mind that you're going to sound like shit to the other person during a phone call.

  • These look decent OP, which out of these would be the best for running?

    • +1

I use Trueair2 for running. I don’t like in-ears for running and prefer earbuds to stay aware of surroundings.

    • +1

truewings is also a good choice

    • +1

I've been running with the Truengine since January, I paired them with some Comply foam tips and they have been working well so far. Recently had difficulty with the buds not staying snug in my ear, but that could be more due to the foam tips wearing out from all the running I've been doing.
Otherwise I've had no issues. Connectivity is fine, pairs easily and sound quality is great

  • For sports, I bought the wings ones.

Really awesome headphones especially with the noise cancelation ability to turn it off and on by douple tapping the headphones.

  • Happy to vouch for OP. I had Truengine TWS last year and upgraded to Truengine 3 SE just a month ago. Sound quality is great. Use this for cycling commute at home I use WH-1000XM3.

  • Would any work well with a ps4? since it requires a jack?

    • IIRC you can connect bluetooth headphones to a PS4.

  • I have the corded BT versions of these headphones and was incredibly impressed. I paid 45ish with a coupon and they outperform anything you can get from JB or HN in the price range. I'd be happy to pay the full price for them even.

  • +1

Too many "True" here I don't even know which one is true anymore

    • now most of our earbuds are true wireless earbuds, it means that there is no wire and very easy

  • I own the truengine 3SE. The sound quality is very good. A little bass heavy, but it suits EDM I like.

Please be advised that they are awful for phone conversations. The sound cancelling does not work as advertised. You may be able to (barely) use in a quiet room (Your voice will be very, very quiet), but forget about it with any background noise. Outside a passing car sounds like a jet engine.
