Thanks OP, would be worthwhile for anyone who recently did the free Power Platform webinar:

I need a course to teach me how to start learning course lol.

Too many courses in udemy already havent started one

Honestly, not sure how why this is getting the up votes. You can get a free 10 day trial anyway — what can you really accomplish in a weekend?

Individuals can try out Pluralsight Skills using a free trial. You have 10 days or 200 minutes of access to our content, whichever comes first.

    • +9

I would assume that this deal removes the limit of 200 minutes for the free weekend.

      • +1

But if access ends tomorrow at midnight you only have 2,000 minutes left to do it. 1,800 minutes left, if you must complete the 200 minute course by the time access ends. And suppose you planned on sleeping 500 minutes tonight, that leaves you with just 1,300 minutes to start it. Minus some more minutes for eating and pooping, and it's cutting it really close.

You can get a free 10 day trial once*. The free weekend is open to all, regardless of the preliminary offer.

      • assuming you stay honest with one email

Agree, you can barely scratch the surface of any serious topic.

Really wish they had allowed any 10 courses to be added to your profile to be completed anytime before next Black Friday or, heck even before next year. That would have been deal. This one is simply 🤨

Can people please recommend the courses within Pluralsight, they liked.
I know there are ratings and other things on the courses but I trust OzBargainers more than anything else.

Can the courses be downloaded for offline learning

    • +1

Yes their Windows/Android/iOS apps allow downloading content offline.

      • +1

Would they still work after the free access expires though?

    • You can download using youtube-dl I believe

  • This is a good opportunity for those who know what they want/need to learn. Say, you can explore the catalog and check the content, what the trainer/lecturer is like & etc, without investing anything except for your time. This will work best for people in IT, as Pluralsight is focused mainly around the tech stuff.

I'm looking to get into blender but their courses are all pretty old :(

    • +1

Have you started learning blender yet? If not, I'd highly recommend Blender Guru's tutorial

      • +2

Thanks for the tip, I'm a few days in actually; I started with Grant Abbitt's tutorials on youtube, just finished the sea shack today, he's a really good teacher.

  • I'm unable to access, are you?

    • It hasn't started yet. I think OP must have assumed it starts at 12am Friday 20/11/2020 M.T. (US Mountain Time). But as per the deal page it actually starts at 9am M.T., which is 3am Saturday 21/11/2020 AEDT.

        Thanks, updated start time

  • Can you look at courses before signing up?

    • +1

No way to see or trial courses before signup. You can check out youtube for their videos (ad, reviews etc)

  • Do you need a new account for this to work?
can someone verify if this is working?

content still locked on my existing

    • +1

Yes, looks like you need to sign up to this particular offer. I couldn't access either. Then signed up through the deal page (using existing account email) and got a response email. Re-logged in and could now access the courses.

      • thats what I dislike about these offers, cant use existing accounts.

Edit - got in by making another account worked for a little while but now I get my access has been blocked or I need to upgrade now.

        • cant use existing accounts

As mentioned above, I did use an existing account.
