Found this on the Costco website. Looks like a good price for the 256 GB.
They also have the 64 GB for 1399.97.

Apologies for the lite post - Posting from my mobile

    • It's also $270 more expensive. Horses for courses.

Crazy to spend this much on a end of life phone.. if you see value at $1600 may aswell pay the $220 more get the i12 pro with all the upgrades

I mean… technically it's a deal (cheapest I could find was $1698 @ Officeworks in Gold, but no stock online) but as others have said you're probably better off with a newer model.

    12 / 12 Pro deals here: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/575621

    • The 12 pro 128 GB looks to be good price but out of stock. This is the best price I found for the 11 pro.

      • +1

Yep, I know, that's what I'm saying. It's the cheapest price I was able to find for the 11 Pro, but personally I'd be going with a 12 if it was me.

However there's plenty of reasons somebody might want the 11 Pro, who are we to judge? Is it a deal? Yes. Upvoted.

        • Agree, the 11 pro is the latest model in that size, and for me it’s the right size.

      • There are daily stock updates on apple stores, just check online and order it for pick up. Either check it early in the morning for same day pick up or evening for the next day pick up.

    Dealking

A discount's a discount but if you're already the type of person to buy a 1.6k phone why not pay the extra for a 12 series phone

  • -7

Not even a pro max at this price !

    • +2

Do you also carry it in your pocket and use it on the move?

      • -8

No. I have a decent phone that does everything i need, at a fraction of 1.5k

I think if you've got the cash to blow, it's worth paying extra for the iPhone 12. Even if you're a true Ozbargainer and hang onto your phone for 3+ years, I think the the 12 is still better value because of the 5G/futureproofing.

    • But the small “extra” will never end until you get to the 12 pro max 512gb. That’s what Apple wants people to think… buy this might as well extra $$$ to get that then might as well extra $$$ to get the top end highest capacity model.

  • Do I want an SE or a 12 or a mini?

    • I don’t know. What’s the answer?

      • I don't know either. The SE is almost half the price of the others. But I'm still using my 6. So I can either stick with the familiar form factor, because everyone loves buttons, or I can finally bite the bullet and go for the new tech stuff with the pretty OLED.

        It's a pickle.

        • I’m on SE1 and was considering SE2 but now it’s 12Mini. Gotta love that compact form. Prob order tomorrow.

          • @Lps: The other thing colouring my perception is I got that $500 JB card the other day from porting but not shenanigans, so I'm also thinking of it as "do I want to spend $300, or do I want to spend $1100"

  • If you had the choice, would you go an iPhone 11 Pro 256gb for $1100 or an iPhone 12 128gb for $1400?

I should clarify that the iPhone 11 Pro is a mates who has had it for 3-4 months and is in mint condition.

    • I have heard good things about the iphone 11 Pro camera. That to me is a plus. I am not very keen on the 5G in the iphone 12, but each to their own I believe.
