      Nah, a 300hz CPU won’t overheat

Tech specs pretty crap for 3 grand

Get a Ryzen as it wont overheat much as these intel high H/HK series always overheat badly in laptops.

Can you give an example of a comparable Ryzen laptop with a RTX 2070 or similar?

      • +1

        Spoiler, he cant.

      • Good point I guess, I'm not expert on gaming laptops. Close would be the G14 with 2060.

Agreed range of Ryzen laptops is woeful. But also woeful to pay so much for noisy, hot, and super low battery life laptop. Then for the money they are asking it's kinda rude to have only 500 ssd and the 16 ram also questionable.

      • He cant, doesnt exist

        useless recommandation

Imagine paying $5000 (rrp) and getting a screen that garbage.

    • +1

      Garbage screen??
      The title says it’s 300Hz!

As per the specs, this has a regular 2070, not a 2070S

    • I believe the specs in the website are wrong as this specific model only comes with the 2070S

      • They fixed it, 2070S it is confirmed

  • Bought it on last deal at Centrecom. Returned to them in 2 weeks. Fans are loud, and keeps on spinning even when idle. Display started bleeding later. And that was enough. Returned. 3K with only one year warranty is abysmal. They won’t allow us to buy extended warranty in Australia either.

      That's Razer for ya.

    • Excellent decision!

I bought a Blade 14 years ago and what a heap of trash it was. Ran unbelievably hot and loud, and had unbearable coil whine.

I sold it after 6 mths for half what I paid, and the graphics card died on it a month later. Hopefully the warranty wasn’t too rough on the new owner.

I find it interesting that e.g. Ryzen 7 4800u gets a higher PassMark score than this CPU.

      Lol

      Ryzen 7 4800 rocks!

  • who actually pays 4.9k lol
