  I got the Ego trimmer when masters closed, it is a really good piece of kit (I think this is the same model, though not 100% sure).

Total Tools has the EGO 56V 42cm Mower Kit includes 5ah Battery & Standard Charger Plus Blower Skin already for $849, got it at that price on Saturday. So not sure that's much of a deal.

  I’ve had an Ozito corded (I think it was the bigger one) and now an Ego cordless. The Ozito I found unbalanced. It was a pain holding it up. The Ego is much better. Only got the small battery which means it’s lighter and lasts enough for me. Works better too. BTW, the twisted line that it comes loaded with works well.
  
  I have the bigger Ozito corded mower which I reckon is a great buy. Want a cordless, but they’re silly money still.

  Total tools in WA ego dealers just terrible to deal with never have stock. I had to go to 4 stores to pick-up all ego gear I wanted.. then found out battery redemption needs to be all on 1 receipt to claim!

Thanks OP. Grabbed a trimmer.

Will be good to have a 5ah battery when I grab an Ego mower down the line (assuming the trimmer works out well).

If I didn't already have a decent blower, I'd be tempted by the mower/blower combo. The 42cm deck is just too small for me to bite, given that the blower doesn't make it a better deal for me.
