  • Bluetooth version in case anyone is wondering.

  • Any good

Still prefer the look and functionality of this watch. Some owners of v2 who have owned both say battery life is worse and not much improved. I'm amazed this watch is still available after 2 years and still holding its price? I paid $290 a year ago at HN special and still happy. No issues at all, just works! Handles the knocks, no issues with ocean surf also amazed with rubber band as I used to always replace after a year of wear on analogue watches. Very happy and fully recommend.

      • What is this v2 you speak of? I think you may be referring to the Galaxy Watch 3, Samsung's naming convention for these is a little hard to follow..

I have the 46mm LTE version of this watch and am happy with the hardware, software updates on the other hand are slow and there hasn't been one since February..

It is worse, samsung has always claimed that the battery life is worse with later interations. Good battery life for smart watches is a must for me, so I've never felt compelled to upgrade it. Though the Huawei GT2 Pro is extremely tempting for me. Looks nice and has a 2 week battery life, or 8 days with always on display

        • I was on lookout for GT2 pro deals this BF/CM but nothing came up. Mostly GT2.

          Any experience with GT2?

        • Shame there isn't an LTE version for the Huawei watch or i would've grabbed by now I certainly like the thinner bezel and long battery life 😀👍

This of course is the original from I assume couple years ago. I just grabbed the active 2 44mm LTE for $390 delivered with ebayplus (allphones 459.90 -15% with PTETE15 code).

https://www.jbhifi.com.au/collections/prices-blitzed-on-sams… - JBHiFi - $274 - If you have gift card price will be lower.

How is this compare to Huawei GT 2 which can hold 2 weeks for the battery.

using this card - https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/582451 - This watch will become = $232.9 at JBHifi.

  • Same price at office works too

    • 269 Amazon. Just bought it…

  • Thanks! Didn't bother with Coles gift cards as I already get 5% off JBHIFI, extra $27 wasn't with the hassle people seem to be having.

Upgraded from a Gear S3, so easy to transfer, everything setup/restored in minutes.

    • Had to get from Amazon, at 269, (3% Gift card) as JB aren't doing any delivery on the 46mm watch.
      Instore pick up only.

  • Anyone know what the LTE frequencies are for the Samsung SM-R800NZSATGY version (Samsung GalaxyWatch), is this the AU version can't find anything about this version online most important want too know the LTE bands, has anyone researched the LTE version and model numbers etc of the LTE Samsung Galaxy watch?

  • Managed a 3 week old LTE version off eBay for $290, so looking forward too it 😀👍
