I'm not too sure if this counts as a bargain, but it's definitely a great buy! I've bought refurbished iPods from apple, and they're pretty much the same ipod but packaged differently (not in the fancy packaging that normally comes with ipods), it just has a white box, with the ipod in a plastic sleeve.

They usually run of stock really fast, and if you have any problems with the refurbished ipod you can always return it for a new one :) It comes with 1 yr warranty as well :)

Personally I think the best bargain is the 8GB Touch for $259 RRP $399.

    Yeah, the Apple Refurb Store is a bargain for all things Apple, not just iPods..
    You get all the benefits of buying new at a fraction of the price you'd pay anywhere else..

        All the iPods are definitely due for a refresh, especially for the 3 months leading up to Christmas.

        yeah the rumours have started flying about new iPod Nano's.. Haven't heard any about the Touch, Classic or Shuffle though.
        Possibly increased storage across the range of Touch and iPhone.. or just a price drop.. Apple did that with the last iPhone only a few months after launch..

    I bought a 40gb 4G black and white screen ipod last september referb for only $150 with free shipping! Cheaper than a 4gb nano at the time!

      can get around $120 for it on ebay now…

      ipods are great, but they have a bad name when it comes to dieing! Wouldnt own one without warranty

    you think that's a bargain, i bought a 32gb iPod touch for only $385 inc postge.. Still has 8 to 10 months warranty and has hardly any scratches on it… Bargain found on ebay through auction.. Pretty happy with my Buy.
