Doesn't look like it. This is a rebrand of the YAS-109 I believe and that does not feature a 3.5mm jack.
I think sound quality wise this will be better than, say, TCL 3010 (https://www.binglee.com.au/tcl-ts3010-2-1-channel-sound-bar), but will not having the subwoofer make that much of a difference? Very tempted to just get this one but not sure whether I should hold out for a unit with a sub.
Can you wall mount these? I just mounted a bedroom tv and I want to avoid cables.
Setup video from Yamaha says you need to buy the hardware for it, but it does indeed have holes on the bottom of the unit to wall mount.

I tested both and went with Beam. Much more clarity and sounded fuller in my opinion.

Can someone tell if there is a way when you turn on your TV, the sound can default to this soundbar without needing to change TV speaker settings every time you turn it ON?
Yes, if you have HDMI ARC on your TV.

Bugger, that is in theory how it is meant to work. I have found that not all HDMI cables work. I had to go through 3 different ones until I found one that worked

Just leave the soundbar on and turn the TV volume to zero.
Be warned, I purchased this on Monday and in my confirmation email, arrival date was Thursday. I got a shipping confirmation yesterday saying delivery date was the 14th of December. Was not happy at all
