i think its a generalised term these days, for a group. but yes agree

I call my male and female friends 'guys' as the group collective - as does pretty much everyone I know in a non-professional setting - maybe they're just less sensitive over the subject?

    • +6

do you really want to be called a doll?

This is from the Dictionary that came standard on my iMac:

        guy 1 |gī|
        noun
        1 informal a man : he's a nice guy. [ORIGIN: mid 19th cent.]
        • ( guys) people of either sex : you guys want some coffee?

Note how the modern day dictionary already acknowledge the term "guys" to be unisex. So please move on.

  • The data junkie in me is lusting after the Insight monitor but money's a little tight this close to Crimbo. The coupon's valid till the end of December, yeah? None of that "valid while stocks last" malarkey?

    • +1

Discount of $20 is valid for the first 1000 orders or till 30 December 2011

      • Thanks.

  • i added a number of products, and in differing quantities and looks like it's just a flat $20 off your cart of belkin products?

so if you want to buy 2 of a product, or a few different products, you have to do separate orders for each-and-every-individual-item.

    • yeah that's a bit silly. Hopefully doing separate orders doesn't confuse the process.

  • dupe deal. CBF finding it though..

    • Must be this one - focus was on the Valet
      http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/56657
Funny how I didn't take much notice until this separate post focused on the Insight power monitor.

      • Guy's we dropped the price even more on these 2 products! It is not a duplicate deal.

        • Great to hear, thanks.

I was going to buy one of these and up-vote the deal, but gave up trying to sign up for a shop account.

"Password must contain 8 to 15 characters including at least 6 letters and 2 numbers"
Who thinks up these absurd requirements?! I can make up my own complex passwords, thank you.
