    finally got it after trying all day yesterday and this morning !!!

    I did it fresh from the listing page (didn't even have a preloaded cart) -> copied code beforehand -> buy now -> cancel insurance popup -> paste and apply code -> confirm and pay.

    took like 4 seconds. its still possible!!!

      yup, I think it's a lottery though, it's not dependent on the method anymore, or how fast you are. luck of the draw. I've had all the methods above and it still didn't work..

    Got them at the 2pm round, I used PayPal as well.
    Similar to what some others have alluded to, at 12pm I was able to get them into my cart but too slow to process.
    All I did was leave the window open, came back at 2pm and kept clicking process and it worked at 2 on the dot.

      Yeah something is dodge. Check my comment above regarding purchases still going through at 4 minutes past the hour. There are only a few purchases per second, I am thinking there is some slow-down mechanism at play.

        you are wrong. the ebay system works like this:

        • seller updates quantity
        • buyers checkout
        • each "confirm and pay" drops the quantity of the item until 0
        • ebay processes the payment for each purchase
        • once thats done, the order is confirmed
        • the time shown in the recent purchases is the confirmation time

        you really just need two — one at confirm and pay, and the other one on the product page to smash the F5 so you can see when stock has been updated

        when its 5 seconds before the time, spam confirm and pay. (don't spam too early otherwise you'll get kicked out for being a "bot")

    finally scored the airpods pro. did it through the app, had it loaded up last drop, paid with zip pay through my apple wallet. didn't get to use afterpay but that's been too slow to process.

    even better i don't have to get up early tomorrow for a shot at amazon's offering lol

        Keep the check out page open for the next drop. 3-5 mins before the next drop, hitting the Confirm and Pay furiously.

        The necessary steps (add to the cart, apply voucher, add payment) has to be done in the previous drop.

        With AirPods Pro the link was updated, so refreshing the actual item page was useless. If the item in your cart is the same as the deal at the 4PM (or whatever is the subsequent) drop, you should have a chance. But the time is so limited, you can only go for one or the other!

    iot.hub mentions very little about the warranty for their Airpod Pro sales, indicating that the product should be returned to them for action and not to Apple directly. Is this also how other people read it?
    Given the possibility for the Airpod Pro rattle issue it would be nice to be able to deal with Apple directly.

            @DEALS1984: I’ve got to say the AliExpress copies were pretty darn good. Trick is to get the right generation, and I’m not sure if all functions work like Sharing Audio etc.

            But just for using as wireless earbuds for your iPhone or iPad? Works very well!

                @DEALS1984: AliExpress delivery in 2020 has been hit and miss. But previously I was always surprised how quick they turned up, on average maybe two weeks? But definitely slower than local and you'd really have to plan ahead to expect them by Christmas.

        But you’d need everything else ready to go, like your payment details and delivery address. It took me four goes - all day - to get it right.

        Airpod Pros were just like a normal transaction; buy now, code, CCV, and pay. The Airpod 2 was another story I had to do the stalled checkout from a failed session spam at drop time. I started clicking at XX:59:30 and didn't stop until it showed "estimated delivery".

              You should stay on the main Black Friday offers page and click on the AirPods Pro banner until it takes you to the actual item's page when it's live, hit Buy Now, then a mad dash to paste the discount code and then Confirm and Pay. You may need to stop to put in a credit card's CVC, but if you've got the rest of the payment and address all set, that's two fields to fill and one button to click.

                Waiting on the main offers page will slow the process.
                And avoid the CVC buy placing a $1 item order before, again, to increase the checkout speed.
