  • Is the seller FlashForwardTech selling Apple watch 3 is genuine model or Grey Import?
Foes this watch has apple warranty in Australia?
    Thanks

    • Last time it was grey import with 2 years warranty.
It was clearly mentioned in the description.
      Now its not.

Assuming its a aus stock or you could send a message for a clarification

      • I messaged him and asked the same question. They replied saying any warranty issue subject to contact them and not Apple as we buying from them. Does it mean its not covered under Aus warranty?

  • Are the Airpod Pros AU stock?

  • is there a 10am AirPods today? thank you

    • Gone again, wow that was quick lol

    • I have been getting messages saying "please check your payment method" from the last few trial trying to get a pair, does anyone know what's causing that issues? I used the same payment method for something else from eBay just a couple of days ago and it worked fine.

        • Thanks for the link.

It is the correct credit card that I have been using, purchase the powerbank for 50cents deal a few days back using the same card details. Unsure why it has been saying "please check your payment method" or similar message when I tried to score a pair of airpods. Pretty annoying :(

          • @Wsk: Credit card failed for me when I was connected to a vpn

            • +1

@kusama: That make a lot of sense, was using work computer, will jump on my own pc and try again. Thanks for the heads up.

  • For me its asking RE-Type your security code which is annoyed as card details are saved automatically. That is why its time consuming. Does anyone knows why?

    • +1

have you bought something with that card recently on ebay?

    • That happened to me too, funny the sales you hesitate they don't need it, but when you just want to hit the Pay button…

    • Because you haven't verified that payment option in the last month.

      • How to verify that?

        • +1

Buying something will no longer require that. But the checkout methods shouldn't been fine if you have the CCV pre-filled again.

  • +5

    Fiiiiiiiiiinally scored one.

Just like last time a few months ago with APP, as soon as i switched to chrome on my work computer (on corporate NBN with 100/100 speed), it was easy as. No preloading and spamming, just took my time and declined insurance, pasted code, then pressed buy, then it took 2-3 seconds with the circle going then bam, order placed. So I think if you can do the steps reasonably quickly and have the CC details already on the ebay, you don't always have to do the "don't buy at the final step and wait for the next drop on the final screen for spamming method". I think it might have to do with the internet speed (upload or ping time maybe??) and the browser etc. I tried the "paste the code but don't buy at the final step, just wait for the next drop with everything ready to go" method at home for the last 3 days which never worked, and like magic, came to work computer connected to fast NBN and it worked with just normal steps.

    • I don't think that's enough statistical data to say it always works better on nbn 100/100.
I've had the same experience on my FTTN home connection a few times for similar deals, doesn't mean that it's just always that experience.
Yet, for other ones, I've had the issue where it was stuck in between buy now and the last confirmation. (I've also had the issue where it went through, and then later on the order disappeared in ebay because payment processing failed. This had nothing to do with connection speed at all, but solely on ebay/payment processing side.)

      • yup agree it's definitely a bit of lottery ..

        • It's not the NBN I can assure you although I scored the pods last Friday using home NBN, the previous time before that I was only on ADSL and scored the multipl pods using the spamming the buy button method successfully.

  • This is still going? Damn how many Airpods do they have….

    • Banner says 600 AirPods Pro, 500 AirPods.

  • They seem to have removed Switch from the promo page? It was there last night

    • Aaahhhh sshhiiiiitttt it appeared and igot.one!!

  • Yup doesn’t look like it’s there anymore

  • It’s there!!

  • +1

YES! I got the airpods 2 ! thanks for the tips

    • +1

What did you get and how? I've been clicking confirm and pay from 5 seconds before 12pm but still didn't get any. I'm over this now.

      • +1

Keep doing that you eventually will get it that is what i did.

      • -3

FYI they didn't drop at 12 pm, was 9am/11am/1pm, next one 3pm

        • that is airpods pro

          • @Digitalco: Aha, my mistake, those times were indeed for the pros

      • So did you get one?

  • where?

  • Managed to get a switch! Yay

  • Anyone know what happened to the Versa 2? The code does not apply however doesn't seem that the seller has sold out on it??? Thanks in advance.

Edit: confirming the code works now - got it for $179

  • +1

Yes! Got the airpods pro, finally.

  • Managed to grab a pair of Airpods Pros

    • What link did you use?
because the link provided by the OP didn't show up.

      Thanks

    • I didn't even see them come in stock… how did you do it?

      • For me atleast, I had the checkout page from the previous attempt opened. So when it hit 1pm I clicked purchase now and bought them within 1 second.

  • +1

I didn't even get a buy option for the Airpods Pro….. FML!

I just want 1!!! I'm seeing all these new listings for the Pods at Retail by all these new eBay users, it shits me to tears!

    • try go through the banner next time. The seller was different it was iot.hub

  • +5

Yay! After 3 days of trying through Ebay and Amazon, I finally got some! I had them in the cart at checkout at the last drop but it didn't go through. So I left it until about 30 seconds to go before the latest drop at 1pm (12:30pm here in SA), then I just kept pressing the complete checkout button on the app and it finally went through!
Thanks to everyone for all your tips. I'm going to have an extremely excited daughter on Xmas day 😁.

  • Has anyone got an error saying the code has been redeemed on AirPods gen 2 but you actually haven’t purchased any of them?

    • +1

Different code for the Pods 2 and Pro

      • Yep, trying use the PVHDD82 on AirPods gen2

    • Have you purchase any airpods gen 2 during this sales? If so, you might have been marked by Ebay. Try using different name and CC when signing up for ebay and ebay plus.

If you haven't then contact Ebay, they should be able to resolve it for you

  • +4

incredible - f5ing at 3pm on the dot and don't even see the buy now / add to cart buttons

    • There was a delay, managed to grab one.

    • +2

15:03:30 thereabouts… finally got one… wasted the whole weekend trying to get one

      • +1

Same, almost poo'd myself fumbling the code and checkout.
Sooo happy now that I have my nieces xmas and birthday sorted.

    • +4

LOL a 3.5 minute delay this is gold.

Hats off to eBay for catching all of us out over the smallest thing, drop after drop. I am addicted though not gonna lie and I'm glad this ends tonight hahaha

    • +1

got as far as the cart lmao

  • Lol hold up. Airpods and Airpods Pro are dropping daily at the same times???

    • No airpods are dropping at 4PM where for airpods pro at 5PM

      • and gone again in 1 second. damn it

  • Got the Bose Qc35 II. Cheers OP :)

  • How can they be gone 2 seconds after opening?

    • gone in 2 secs.

    • Ikr. Rip :(

    • I dont know how they disappear so quickly. Such a waste of time trying to get a bargain.

  • -1

Please update post with time zones, not everyone lives in ADET.

  • +1

Just managed to see the stock of AirPods appeared at 16:01, but couldn't even add to cart. Really cheap way for eBay to test their systems against DDOS attacks :P

  • +1

Hope they reactivate the XM4 code

  • +2

All I am not understanding here with eBay is, if you look at the history of the seller, you will see all the transactions are gone until 5 min.

for ex: at 12:00 drop, you will see the transaction of the sold item at 12:05…and bloody hell, I have been trying to grab one in each drop, and literally within 10 seconds all are gone.

how the hack anyone can get this way.

I guess they are not even dropping 100 in each drop. Considering almost 5 drops a day * 100 = 500 a day for 4 day = 2000. and 1 account can claim only 1. with this logic, it shouldn't be this difficult to get even one.

    • look through the sales history. a lot of the purchases are new accounts so lots of people double dipping + bots

    • Those are delay updates of the system. It takes time for changes in an ERP to update and reflect. You need to build the metadata for an audit trail on the system.

    • gone in 1 second

  • New link for the Switch?

  • Got the Airpods Pro for just one try and its purely luck because of the delay I got in.

  • Bought the lego tree house couple days ago and I just got an email saying the order was cancelled!! anybody else experienced same thing?

  • is this promotion code finishing today? lost last chance where ebay wants the CVC code of my credit card, even though I pre-registered it….

    • Best is to buy a $1 item first to avoid the CVC being asked again during the checkout race (I tried to advice people here)
What item were you after? There's still another airpods drop at 6pm.

But for the rest, you'll only be able to buy the items which are still available now (codes will expire at midnight I guess).

    • In one of my successful attempts, I managed to input my CVC and coupon and a pair not issue.

  • 6pm gone in 1 second

  • +1

Finally landed a pair after two previous attempts.

Had the item in my cart with coupon applied from previous attempt, and added my credit card to my 'wallet'. Then it was just a case of continually clicking on 'Confirm & Pay' just as 6pm came around, and I somehow succeeded.

    • Well done. I missed out on the airpods 2 but managed to get the airpod pros in the 5pm drop. Didnt do anything special just clicked through the banner link on the eBay page at 5pm dot until the product page showed then checkout out ~5seconds later. Had CC loaded

  • Oh no! I picked up a pair of pods for myself yesterday for $99. Tried tonight for my partner on her account and… well it was a rush and the purchase went through without the code being applied (i wont go into more detail and further incriminate myself) for the listed price of $249.

Anyone have any advice to offer? Am I stuffed? :/

    Thanks!

    • +1

I had to cancel mine and try again. If there are no more drops, that’s it.

      • Thanks! Yeah I don't mind so much missing out. I just cant afford the $249.

        • ask to cancel the order.

    • You can ask to cancel, but also, assuming you had set up your partner's account as eBay Plus, it should be free to return.

Alternatively, you probably won't have any trouble selling them for what you paid.

      • +3

Oh man, no one will buy his/her AirPods for $249, did you even read his/her comment?

        • Yeah, sorry, I got mixed up.

  • Has anyone received their ps4 Fifa 21 order? Mine says delivered but the delivered date is 1st December? They delivered to a future date and I don't see anything delivered today.

  • Has anyone bought Apple watch 3? I am doubt they are genuine Australian stock although very much tempted.

    Any thoughts pls?

    • +1

its grey import. just search up the model number in their description and it comes up with best buy in America…

this seller is known to sell grey import apple products from the previous iPad and iPad mini deals as well

      • Sill people are buying it even the warranty is not valid in Australia by Apple but by seller only. should i take risk?

        • warranty valid by apple but only 1 year. Australian consumer law protection through seller

          • @skido: Then why seller said that any issue with watch i have to contact them first as m buying with them not Apple? Also this is going to be a gift
for someone so just in case any issue they have i was thinking thy can go to apple but seems no
