THANKS OP! Just created a return for my full size G915 TKL bought from ebay plus to get this instead!

better price but lots of reviews on how it's clunkier than what the price should be, knowing its wireless mechanical though, its in its own market without any real competition

  • I remember the days when the only keyboards that cost this much were Topre and a few other obscure brands.

    • You should look at the custom mechanical keyboard market. Switches alone can go above 100 dollars for like 87 keys easy.

      • Another keyboard I have my eye are keychrons, have had some friends saying good things about it

For non gaming productivity purposes, I’d recommend majestouch convertible 2, with cherry mx brown keys. I love mine!

I have a g610 as well, and i love the volume keys top right!

I have 10 keyboards (incl apple one, matias and traditional mech keyboard) in total and I had this keyboard for about two months. This is the best one I have ever used in my life.

this half height mechanical keyboard is really good. Mostly mechanical keyboards are too high for me. Being used for more than 8 hours your hands will be soar.

  • How is this keyboard comparing to Razer Blackwood Elite?

    • Blackwood?

      • auto correction from the keyboard. I mean:"blackwidow elite"

  • This or the Roccat Vulcan TKL PRO?

    • haven't use that one or seen it. but I did always find the G915's height right for me. my previous was the Cooler Master MK750

    • FWIW, I have the Vulcan 100 and I find it's a superb keyboard. Height is great and I love the short travel of the keys. I used it for several months with a sit/stand desk and I found it very comfortable to use in either position. I'm now using it strictly at a sitting desk and it's still just as nice to use.

      • I've seen some reviews that say the filco ping (reverberating ping sound) on Vulcan keyboards is awful, did you experience that at all?

        • TBH, I haven't noticed, but I've used quite a few mechanical 'boards over the years and I don't think it's any worse than other brands. I've also not used it in a very quiet or enclosed environment, so that might make a difference as well. I can definitely say from personal experience that it's nowhere near as noisy as a Model M-style buckling spring keyboard, though!

  • How's the full size version of this compare to the G615? I want to use it with a standing desk setup, but need the numpad for work. Macro keys would be helpful, too.

    • compared to G615, I'd prefer this as from what I read that's battery operated also I think that doesn't work when wired (?). The Macro keys (G1-G5 i assume) works fine for me, takes a bit of tinkering to setup on G Hub but its worth it when its setup properly.
