    $300. No.

    • $300 for a Logitech, hell no

  • Unless you particularly wanted a full-size tactile ‘board I think the Logitech MX Keys at $100 less ($150 less when good deals pop up) is a better deal. It’s still wireless, gets awesome battery life, is backlit, works with multiple devices, has a great feel to the keys, is smaller & more portable…you get the gist.

    • This one probably is better for gaming with the whole "Lightspeed wireless technology". Not sure whether it's a marketing talk or not, but response rate and stuff apparently is better.

I wonder if the switches are garbage like all the other Logitech switches?

Wow super evidence based unbiased opinion there, please tell me more.

    • I had the g810 previously (romer g) and now have the g815 tactile and it has been much nicer to type on. I can't imagine wanting anything more.

      • G815 tactile owner myself. Love the keyboard, switches and the short travel. I didn't see any benefit in $$ for wireless. I've had wireless keyboards before and they end up just plugged in most of the time.

Yeah, i originally wanted the g915 but when I thought about it and the fact I won't be moving it the g815 made more sense.

Best keyboard I've used hands down. The build is excellent and the keys feel amazing (I have the tactile version).

I've always struggled to find a good keyword that balances work and gaming use and this is the closest I've has.

The price point comes down to whether you can afford it but if you can it's absolutely worth it. I paid $299 in February.

  • Has it been cheaper?

    • You might want to be careful asking that ‘round ‘ere as some folks are sensitive and can get a bit narky if you haven’t tried employing the Search feature of this website yourself first. To answer your question, yes, it has been cheaper, but not by a lot.

Last month, Computer Alliance had it in one of their eBay sales for $271 delivered. Harvey Norman and JB Hi-Fi both had it at ~$279 in the past 12 months.

      • Thanks for the heads up, I guess it was a bit of a lazy question.
I have been on the look out for this for quite some time.
As you said it hasn't been that much cheaper. Wonder if it will get any cheaper over Black Friday sales? …pushing my luck? guess we will see haha
