Surprised nobody jumped on this yet, but this week's getwinesdirect.com offer seems better than usual.

The highlights are:
Gordon's London Dry Gin 700ml $21.99
Dewar's White Label Whisky 700ml $21.99
Case of Carlton Cold 24*375ml $24.99
There doesn't appear to be any expiry listed in the ad, all it says is whilst stocks last.

How to get this offer:
1) Get yesterday's (Wednesday 30/11/11) Herald Sun by travelling back in time or by dumpster diving; then
2) Clip out ad and take to Dan's or First Choice in Melbourne for price match.
or
Print out ad and take to getwinesdirect in Richmond.

I know that Dan's won't accept print outs, so you need the original for their price match. Not sure about First Choice.
Some people have been able to claim this offer outside a 15km radius of Richmond.
Not sure whether the stores will allow you to purchase more than one type of offer if you produce one voucher. E.g. can you buy the whisky, beer and gin discounted in one purchase?

  I'm pretty sure Dm and 1st choice will not price match unless there's an expiry date.

    Here are Dan's t&c's:

    Advertisements must be current and items identical.
    Competitor must have stock available in quantity requested.
    Competitors’ premises must be within 10km of our store.
    Competitors’ conditions may apply. i.e. Payment type, location, freight, etc.
    Excludes reproductions (e.g. photocopies, print outs etc.) of competitors’ vouchers.
    Excludes trade buyers, online offers, online auction sites, duty free, liquidation or clearance sales.
    We reserve the right to limit sales to retail quantities.

    It would be difficult for them to refuse based on an ad from Wednesday, as the ad is current.

      yep, i found most won't, a couple have but not worth making a trip for nothing…

    most also won't accept printouts from the internet, you should bring in the actual newspaper add to play it safe…

    It will probably come down to the checkout person as to when they will accept it. Usually GWD offers have Wednesday/Thursday/Friday offers. I would think DM will accept this until Friday as long as you have the original.
    Last week my dad got the Corona and Sapporo together on the Friday, although Sapporo was Thursday's offer - so got the checkout guy who really didn't give a sh*t.
    Worth noting that the add says "CASH ONLY". I've previously had DM refuse to honor the GWD coupon when paying by card when that was stipulated.
    Also worth noting: "ONLY ONE COUPON PER CUSTOMER PER DAY", so DM's probably won't let you get more than one offer in a single transaction. That said, nothing to stop you walking in, buying one item, putting it in the car, go back in, and go to a different register. I've done this previously when stocking up with multiple's of the same coupon (originals of course).

    at the back of the tv guide section which someone probably got to it before you, happens to me sometime.
