Cheap CDs and DVDs with Free Delivery Worldwide at BangCD.com

20

This site has a lot of cheap CDs with free delivery worldwide. For example, HIM's 'Deep Shadows and Brilliant Highlights" is $3.76 AUS including delivery.
Probably you find find the latest chart toppers dirt cheap but many classics such as Nina Simone, Marvin Gaye, Pavarotti as well as DMX, Kylie Minogue, Sugababes, Bob Marley, Van Morrison etc. are really cheap. Just click on Bargain basement on the left of the website.
In my experience postage was quick and goods were in mint condition.

Occasionally they have cheap console and PC games, too. Maybe worth checking.

Have fun.

Can't find anything I searched for. They don't seem to have a massive range of stuff. Some okay prices on CD's though. My mum is the only person I know who uses CD's anymore, and they don't have the Nickelback shudder album she wants. Oh well.

On another note… how exciting to randomly see HIM mentioned. One of my favourite bands. OzBargain; please don't hurt me.

  • Yes, they do not have the newest stuff cheap or even have it at all but for those of us a bit older (older than 25) there should be some good cheap CDs to get (certainly for our parents).
HIM is great - plenty of people in OZ think so I believe - hence the sold out gigs whenever they are here.

    What are CDs?

  • @itsfree:

Ha, ha, ha. Once your hard drive malfunctions or gets wiped by x-rays you will remember. LOL

  • Caution using this site - both ordering and supply can be iffy at best. Also have been complaints of credit card abuse after using. if unsure check for yourselves. I stopped using them a long time ago because of length of time for delivery - over 1 month or in cd wow time - sometime never.Good luck.

  • I have never had any probs. CDs to Europe were there in between 5 and 7 days. I guess no site is perfect. Always pay by credit card and check statements - that way you are safe and can reclaim the money if something goes iffy.

  • lol, i actually still use cds (for the car) and these prices are not that cheaper than other oz online stores (like cd wow)

  • Yes, CDWow has similar prices but while registered in Melbourne all packages I received from them originated in Hongkong. So much for Aussie store. LOL. Besides, I never said this site is the cheapest in the world.
If you want really cheap I reckon one needs to buy from the Russian sites - but then how much is your data worth to you, right???!!

  • Odd site, limited range, and I'm perturbed by some of the comments above. Searched for several things - reasonably in, slightly out, and way out of the mainstream, and got nothing.

Probably worth bookmarking the bargain basement page though, if only to remind you of a few things you had been meaning to buy… You can then compare with cdwow/local jbhifi bargain bins and then see how keen you are.

First poster Stig's difficulty searching for Nickelback cd may at least indicate something good about the site. Does your mum like Hinder as well? God spare her!!

Haha! Nah, apart from Nickelback, her taste isn't too bad. It just sucks whenever Nickelback bring out a new album and I go home to visit her… they're playing on the computer and in the car all day.

Then when I hear them on the radio, I end up knowing all of the lyrics and I want to slap myself.

  • yeah cd wow stuff comes from hongkong and items delivered are frequently different versions to what was ordered - the cheapest they can find normally. However cd wow is defintely australian company - grey importer - very very grey and very very unreliable - labels are argentinian, thai pressing plants etc etc
Maybe people should try amazon uk for cds - great company - 25 pound gives free shipping - vat reduced on exit - hinder and nickelback invariably cheap - and you get the version you paid for 9 times out of 10 - unlike cd wow - in less than half the time of cd wow/bang and your credit card is as safe as it gets online these days.Oh and I am not affiliated to Amazon but do greatly appreciate trouble free online shopping.Good luck all.

  • Never bought from cdwow, just compared prices. Almost put through an order at one point. Sobering info. Be interested to hear other experiences. No personal with Amazon UK, but with a recent US order only discovered in the checkout phase that the seller of almost ten of the cds wouldn't ship to Oz. I'm guessing the same thing happens on UK Amazon all the time. Infuriating not to be forewarned.

    Ville Valo YUM!

    • You have no idea how much I want to positive vote this comment all day. I never thought I would see something so awesome written on OzBargain. Ville is a Finnish god ;)

  • Sorry not to be clearer. The amazon.uk 25 pound free shippin option is only for Amazon sales. Marketplace and forfilled by amazon are not elegible for the free shipping option/minimum order 25 pounds.Amazon send CD's, dvd's blue rays and books to Australia as part of this offer - not games which is a pain because their prices are really good.Look for the 25 pound offer box on the page for full t and c's. Amazon orders may still arrive before Christmas if in stock - rest of uk stores - who knows at this time - dvd.uk/base very slow.Hut and Zavvi completely variable.Bangcd/cd wow - how long is a piece of string? Good luck with your choices.
This FREE Super Saver Delivery offer has now been extended until January 15, 2012.

  • Hi e103, I already figured that the free shipping offer only applied to 'sold and shipped by Amazon' stuff, but thanks for your other info.
