Why is there such a big price difference compared to this other dell monitor here. Both are 4k 27 inch
There's actually a few different ranges in the Dell catalogue - the Ultrasharp is the second highest below US Pro. This is a great screen.

I had similar problem but I went with the dell 27'4K ultimately because -
1) Dell has flat base, and thus more desk space, LG has weird concave
2) Dell better warranty you can get separate
3) Dell has better snap to grid functionality
4) there were one too many comments that the LG had weird "sleep" modes and drained too much electricity and that there were often blackout comments from other users whereas Dell didn't everyone who had one was very pleased.
Anyone using one of these on a high-end recent MacBook pro? How well does it work? Are there issues with it being recognised when plugging in and unplugging? How are you connecting it?
Someone had mentioned on the similar question that you need a certified thunderbolt 3 cable to work with it.
Currently, on Dell UP2716D with prefect color, Should I swap this one for 4K?
