Pioneer DDJ-SB3 DJ Controller $379 @ Store DJ & DJCity

Hey team, this is a great deal on an entry level DJ controller that’s Australian delivered. I’ve been watching the price of these and this is a great price if you’re interested.

  • Thanks for sharing OP. Looks like you’ve also compared other brands and - in some ways recommend this one? Would appreciate your advise thanks

    • There is an equivalent in pioneer that uses different software (DDJ-400 w/ rekordbox) and other brands such as Roland, native instruments, numark, etc. the differences are size (the cheaper the smaller generally), build quality, software and features. This unit is made by pioneer, which is probably the biggest brand of DJ decks/controllers, and uses the very popular Serato software. 1 downside is that it comes with Serato lite which locks some features such as set recording, I personally don’t mind the lite version. So yes, I would recommend this.

  • Watch out with this companies online orders, order didn't ship for 2 weeks had to email support over a few days to get them to change it to a pick up order. No way of contacting them via phone (they never pick up and message bank is full). Check the company reviews.

Yeah true, store DJ is the same price at the moment so could be a better option getting from there.

Same price at Store DJ who would be arguably more reliable for online delivery but also currently have stock in every state.

  • SB3 does not support Recordbox, if that's important for some.

    • True. The equivalent model that does is the DDJ-400. They’re very similar, the DDJ-SB3 can support virtual decks 3 & 4 which I don’t believe. the DDJ-400 can but rekordbox does have additional features too (set recording is one of them from memory).
