Great deal for the 10850k overclocked it's the same as the 10900k.
Correct. Got mine at 5.0Ghz all-core and very low temps.
10900k is better binned, but its like $200 more. 10850k is a great deal even though you will likely not achieve the best OC.
For gaming it makes no sense to go with the Intels over the 5600x right?
The 5600x performs just as well as the i7 or i9 but uses half or 1/3 of the power to do so?
Depends on what you're going to do with the PC, just gaming? sure then AMD is the way to go. But if you're doing stuff like music and video production then intel, for now has a bit more compatibility for software and hardware.
AMD has worked closely with Microsoft not only for the consoles but the PC platform as well. I think you'll find AMD outshining Intel not only on performance but efficiency in the windows environment.

I jumped on the 10700k last night. I was contemplating whether to build a PC or not and was excited by the Scorptec deal but it was sold out. When I found this I just went for it. I also scored the MSI Z490-A Pro for $315 from eBay. Let the PC building adventures begin lol
That will be a great setup. There's some really good deals on Ram and storage, so you should be able to pair it nicely.
I'm thinking about the $99 HyperX RAM and $119 650w EVGA GA PSU from Shopping Express. I might wait to see if there are any 5700XT deals for a GPU.
