It is completely different. I don’t know why, seems little more like than mindless button mashing, but I loved the original Hyrule Warriors on Wii U. Spent like 200 hours playing it lol
My standard was set way too high for action RPG. After playing Nier Automata, I just couldn't stand the warriors games anymore. The mindless button mashing just wasn't fun anymore.
Its the prequel to this game story wise, so it isn't a "totally different" thing.

I tried the option to return before 31st December and with money back. Cost $7 AUD for postage. So they only returned $60 AUD instead.

You should be able to get a refund on the difference. After all, what's stopping you from ordering another copy and returning the original? It's mutually beneficial.
If it were me, I'd order another copy and hold it hostage until you get in contact with the store. Did that for a watch I bought 2 days ago.

Great game always felt guilty after I started googling the shrines but no way I would of found them all.

November/December 2021, most likely. Major Zelda games almost always come out around that time for each 5 year anniversary of the series. Next year will be the 35th anniversary.

Credible leaker recently stated May next year. Alongside the new switch model. Means we’ll get a reveal soon. Fingers crossed. It would make sense since the Japanese financial year begins in april and they will want to maximise profits early on like they did with animal crossing. Nintendo had a huge year financially in 2020 and will want to keep the ball rolling

Bought, going to return my unopened copy i bought from big w a few days ago.

You probably had the APPONLY10 code applied if you purchased for the first time from the app. Otherwise, you might have had $10 promotional credit somewhere.
I tried with the APPONLY10 and it said it's expired now.

@corehaza: Ahh ok didn't know that. You can contact their customer service and tell them that you tried applying the code as a first time buyer and it didn't work. Often they'll give people $10 promotional credit.

It's been fixed. Had me worried when I refreshed this site to discover the deal already being expired, was so relieved when I went to Amazon and found it's still available with 65~% claimed (66% after putting in my order). I've been waiting to catch a good deal on the game since July last year, actually bought the expansion pass on sale for $21 exactly 1 year ago on Nov 30th so it will be good to actually own the game as well (I've been able to borrow my sister's copy though).
I bought this this morning on amazon, managed to cancel it and get this - saved about $20. Cheers!
