Another bonus deal/challenge for ebay has just popped in the app!

  • This challenge entitles you to $5 bonus cashback when you spend $5 or more in a single transaction (minimum spend does not include GST charged at checkout for international items, delivery and all other fees) at eBay Australia through ShopBack between 1.00pm and 11.59pm AEDT on 30th November 2020.
  • Multiple items may be purchased in a single transaction to reach the minimum spend.
  • Limited to one bonus per customer.
  • Available while redemptions last.
  • Valid for selected users only.
  • The $5 bonus cashback is in addition to the regular cashback you'll receive shopping at eBay Australia.
  • The $5 bonus will be added to your account once your regular cashback turns Confirmed.
  • Purchases that do not count towards this challenge are those in which do not meet the store's respective terms and conditions (including but not limited to cancellations, returns, exchanges, using unapproved coupons, purchasing excluded products/categories).
  • Cashback will be voided if any fraudulent activities are detected or if any terms and conditions are not met.

Might be useful as it appears that ebay is now only with Shopback.

    How do you know if your challenge offer has been used?

    I clicked on both the $5 & $10 and bought $15 worth of gear from eBay via the shopback app to be safe.

    But both offers are still sitting at the bottom with the 5700/9000 counters still going up??

    Should I be seeing some change?

    My tracking for one $6.99 item was 2x cashbacks at 2c and 4c. Are they now going to classify this as separate transactions so I don't get the $5 bonus?

        Yes I found it once I scrolled to the bottom.

        I clicked through the app and it directed me to the eBay app. Hopefully it tracked successfully. Usually get the cash back notification within the hour if I bought stuff within the shopback app.

      I've got a date of 30/01/2021 as the Pending date. Still no $5 back yet, nor the 15% cashback. FFS. If my recent 2 purchases via ShopBack deals do not track, I'll not only neg every future deal of theirs, but will stop using them and deactivate my account. I've had enough.

          It's pending until the cashback for whatever purchased changes to redeemable, usually 1-3months.

    I placed an order on 30 November with eBay Australia for the $5 eBay Cyber Monday bonus and the $5 bonus for any store (total of $10 bonus), but for some reason it tracked with a date of 28 November.

    Shopback has sent me a generic email from "Debra" and said my transaction is now ineligible. I have years of experience with using cashback sites and am so careful with my last clicks. The transaction didn't track with any other cashback providers that I use. The date of the order from eBay clearly states 30 November and I definitely have a click just before I finalised the order.

    Just wanted to share my frustration!

      Reply back and complain more. They tend to have a generic "too bad" email, but then if you reply to that, an actual person will reply. At least, that's been my experience.

        As expected I got the generic ineligible email from Debra. I've replied back, as I followed exactly the same process as a few days earlier when it tracked fine. I've about had it with shopback. They seem much less reliable than cashrewards and customer service when there's an issue is non-existent.

          I have the same issue as everyone else, my transaction didn't track & SB sent a generic email saying that my transaction is "ineligible", which is such BS.

          SB being dodgy af as usual :(

    I just found the past challenges tab where I noticed this challenge failed for me, even though I did the exact same transaction minutes before on the same phone with my husbands account.

    Because it moved to another section I never noticed, and sent an email yestersay with my screenshot transaction as proof. Was advised as it is over 30 days old the merchant (or maybe just ebay) won't investigate, but they credited me the $5 anyway (can't really argue with the screenshot I suppose), so be vigilant and check these bonus challenges 2 weeks after it starts
